DEPARTURE SERVICE

We were served immediately - a bit early and maybe that is why we were served quickly. Service was fast and efficient


CABIN APPEARANCE

Cabin looked very comfortable and had a feeling of space. It was very clean and lighting was welcoming. However, the seats did look a bit tired. This may be due to the colours and materials chosen.


SEATING COMFORT

Cabin was the New Business Class with the 30inch wide seats on a Boeing 77-300ER. Seats were awesome. They were larger than any airline seat we have been on. There was a lot of space around the seats and you had a real sense of privacy. Cushions were distributed so you can sit at whatever angle you like. I have read complaints about these seats. Try using the cushions and sticking your feet up!! The seats were comfortable when converted to beds.


ONBOARD CATERING

There was enough choice and more than enough food. Good selection of hot and cold items. Very good choice of drinks too. You wouldn't go hungry on this flight! Some carried their requests to excess of course and of course you would be disappointed! We overheard a gentleman asking for Johnnie Walker. He was offered the Black Label, but that wasn't good enough and he asked for the Blue Label.


INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT

Very good. Ample choice and on-demand, but we noticed that there is less choice on other routes. We took a Singapore-Taipei return and there was less choice.


CABIN STAFF SERVICE

The crew from Auckland to Singapore was excellent and we felt that there was a real desire to look after us. We have no real complaints except we felt that some of the male stewards did not have the same warmth and desire to pamper. Just that slight feeling of "I would prefer to do something better" or male ego playing up??


FLIGHT ARRIVAL

Nothing to fault there. Our luggage was among the first on the luggage belt at the luggage reclaim area. Nothing was lost or missing.


CUSTOMER TRIP VERDICT

We are very pleased with the experience and would recommended it to anyone.
