DEPARTURE

Check in queues long - over 90 minutes waiting time, told flight delayed and more information made available at original flight time. Boarded two hours late and then waited on the apron for two hours while the previous flight baggage was unloaded and our bags loaded. Return flight also delayed by an hour both delays due to technical issues.

CABIN

Clean, nothing out of the ordinary.

SEATING

Cabin cramped and barely enough leg room for 6' tall person. Leather seats a nice touch but can only recline a small amount. Return leg paid for extra leg room which made the journey more comfortable but beware you are charged for a return even if you only book one leg!

CATERING

Drinks expensive but fortunately given a free drink due to the delays. Did not order a meal.

INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT

Poor quality screens and limited programme choice.

CABIN STAFF SERVICE

Cabin crew efficient and friendly on both legs.

FLIGHT ARRIVAL

Baggage at Dalaman great service. Return leg to Gatwick was terrible - bags arrived in two distinct sets first set after 10-15 mins after landing but nearer 50-60mins for the second set of bags. Was early morning and only two flights had arrived ahead of ours so reason for delay unclear.

CUSTOMER VERDICT

Not impressed with Thomas Cook check-in or ground handling and although I know charter airlines have poor leg room this seemed worse than Monarch.
