AIR CANADA : FLIGHT REVIEW |

DEPARTURE
In transit, but not very courteous.
CABIN
The cabin appearance was good, the airplane was less then two years old.
SEATING
Comfort was good, but still the seats alignment and seat width of the executive first suites should
be increased, as I felt squeezed.
CATERING
Meals were of good quality, but the meal service time inappropriate for a 16 hour flight.
One meal after take off, one meal two hours before landing and no service for the 13 hours
inbetween. This flight should be at least a 3 meal service flight, after take off, in the middle of
the flight and before landing.
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
The inflight entertainment system was not working properly, and the list of available recent movies limited
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
I was not welcomed on board when I boarded the plane! The door was open as if I was entering a
self service supermarket, with flight attendants walking around and preparing glasses of juice. I
even had to ask my way and I was just shown a vague direction in a word! The welcome of Business
class passengers should really be a priority! O board, the staff lacked professionalism, courtesy
and finesse. Rough staff which is totally inappropriate for Business Class.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Arrival services at Hong Kong from airport staff (not Air Canada Staff) was excellent, courteous and professional.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
Paying an executive first ticket for a 16 hour flight and having this type of service and welcome is
totally unacceptable. The quality of staff behaviour and meal service are not top standard.
