DEPARTURE

Very friendly check in staff. Surprisingly efficient for Heathrow. It took 35 minutes for us to taxi to the runway.

CABIN

Cabin could have been tidier as there were crumbs on the floor. The supposedly new seats looked a little worn.

SEATING

Easily the least comfortable seats I have ever had the misfortune to endure.

CATERING

As they charge for food, I did not order any. The tea was weak but at least they gave me UHT milk rather than "creamer".

INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT

Very good, decent selection of modern films and TV shows. It wasn't so good for people who had forgotten to bring their own earphones and didn't want to buy the Icelandair ones.

CABIN STAFF SERVICE

The fact they charge for catering slowed the service down considerably. The staff were efficient and professional but not really friendly until I spoke Icelandic.

FLIGHT ARRIVAL

There was a delay in deplaning but the baggage delivery was reasonably quick.

CUSTOMER VERDICT

It did feel a bit more like a low-cost airline in terms of the general service but overall the flight was pleasant.
