BRITISH AIRWAYS : FLIGHT REVIEW |

DEPARTURE
Reasonably fast check in at airport, but confusing that bag drop could only be located through the
business class and first class entry. Had several other persons waiting in line who only required
bag drop (including myself) that were confused by this. Nonetheless, only waiting 10-15 mins for
check-in.
CABIN
Cabin was clean and tidy, notwithstanding a pair of used socks in the front seat pocket.
SEATING
Premium economy seats were excellent in terms of support and comfort, and unlike previous comments I
found the foot rests to be excellent. Some foot room obstructed by IFE hardware which is annoying,
but overall very good. However, the wings on the head rests were virtually useless and prevented
good sleep. Recline on seat was adequate but not much better than economy. Good seat pocket storage.
CATERING
Meals were adequate, would seem they are the same as economy meals. Snack coming into Bangkok was
cold cheese and ham roll and biscuits which was also adequate.
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
IFE broke down at start of flight for 45 minutes or so before multiple restarts fixed the problem.
Good selection of movies and TV programs.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
Very efficient cabin staff no complaints there, but very rushed and impersonal service. Only one
drinks run down the cabin dispensing water and orange juice during the entire nine hour flight after
main meal service.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
No problems on arrival at Bangkok Intl.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
While everything was adequate and satisfactory, overall I was disappointed with this cabin class
and would pay the extra for business in the future, or simply fly economy and hope there are spare
seats next to me.
