DEPARTURE

Travel from LHR T5 every week but this was T3. Great outside not so good inside. Emirates lounge was very good - good views across runway and direct access to plane from lounge. Drinks and food in lounge good.


CABIN

A380 upper deck all white and quite clinical. The aisles are narrow and I struggled to wheel my case up it. Cabin was clean and fresh - this is a new plane after all.


SEATING

Seat good in upright position - could do with a bit more padding. In fully reclined position there is only a very small space that your feet fit into - its odd and this part does not compare favourably with British Airways Club World.


CATERING

Very good - even have a little mini bar next to your seat (though it only has water and soft drinks). The Bar at the back is the happening place - it was mobbed when I went with cabin crew trying to move people back to their seats as there are only 20 oxygen masks there and there must have been 30 of us crowded like it was a city wine bar!


INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT

There is just so much to choose with a big screen. Was interesting seeing the camera in the nose and tail as we landed and took off. You can even send and receive sms and emails (USD1 a time).


CABIN STAFF SERVICE

Very good and friendly - the staff come from all continents.


FLIGHT ARRIVAL

The narrow aisles are a pain in trying to move your hand luggage around.


CUSTOMER VERDICT

The aircraft is wonderful. How can it be that quiet.
