CEBU PACIFIC : FLIGHT REVIEW |

DEPARTURE
Getting to the new NAIA Terminal 3 is quite hard especially when you don't have your own transport
and you don't have the enough money to pay a cab. Getting to the airport a couple or more hours ahead of your departure appeared to be wasted,
since we cannot get our own seats. Upon boarding, the strangest boarding procedure I ever
encountered occured. Although the airport has airbridge to board its aircraft, the staff still calls
the passengers with their seat numbers from middle to rear part, to go down to the stairs in the
airbridge just before the aircraft door, and board through the stairs in the rear door of the
aircraft. Talking about real hassle and "inefficient" rather "absurd" boarding procedure.
CABIN
The cabin is good and clean, met my standards in terms of cleanliness and fragrance.
SEATING
Since it is an all-Economy class, the seats are fine for small to average size persons.
CATERING
Cebu Pacific has buy-on-board program. Meals are composed of instant noodles, crackers, juice,
coffee and distilled water. Since it is a 55 minutes flight only, that didn't matter at most.
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
They don't have IFE or PTV or any displays since it is a domestic flight only however as the Cebu
Pacific tradition , they have their "Fun Flights" games. The usual show-me game was held.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
Cabin crew are excellent on that flight. They smile, assist passengers especially the elderly, and
polite.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Although we are 1 hour delayed on our scheduled arrival, I'm still amazed that our total flight time
was only 50 minutes instead of the usual 55 minutes flight time. Since it's the usual Tacloban
Airport, we deplane using stairs and waited for the baggage. Baggage handling was good and we got
our baggage quickly without any problems.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
Cebu Pacific as a low cost carrier is a good alternative to passengers who are in search of cheap
flights. However, some areas are need to be improved like that of the unusual boarding procedures in
NAIA Terminal 3, the continuous delay of flights and probably more choices of food on board.
Anything else, it is good for a low-cost carrier.
