DELTA AIR LINES : FLIGHT REVIEW |

DEPARTURE
Delta has a very clean and nice terminal at LAX. Checked in online and used carry on luggage so
easy on and off the aircraft.
CABIN
Equipment on this route was a Boeing 757, a very nice plane. Interior was fresh and clean, so it
must be relatively new equipment.
SEATING
The flight was full, but did not have a crowded feel to it. The individual seats are rather narrow,
so shoulder room was tight. Legroom was OK if you stowed (after takeoff of course) bags under your
legs rather than under seat in front of you.
CATERING
Flight to JFK was a redeye so there was nothing other than beverage service, which was friendly but
limited. Return flight lacked a meal as well as it was evening flight.
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
Had individual screens on seatback and good variety of movies and TV for every taste. Did notice
that my own seatback was warm/hot from the video screen in my seatback.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
Friendly overall but a little attitude about cramming carryon luggage in the large overhead bins.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Easy on and off the plane with carryon luggage. But surprisingly, Delta's JFK terminal is a dump.
They have rigged up walls to accomodate security screening, the connections terminal was extremely
crowded, and the overall impression was Third World.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
Delta is doing their best and has nice newer aircraft.
