DEPARTURE
T5 is extremely spacious and airy. The fast bag drop is more like a bag drop since people queue up
thinking it is check-in, only to be told to go to the pods. Air side, the seating is spacious with
good views of the runways. There is quite a lot of walking however.
CABIN
The cabin was light and airy and looked very clean. Everything was working correctly and the windows
were clean.

SEATING
The seats on the A319 are well worn but the leather is comfortable. The seat pitch is quite tight
but I'm 6ft.The headrest is extremely comfortable although the seatback does not go high enough to
sit up straight.
CATERING
The all day deli consisted of a ham and cheese, and tuna sandwich with a Kit Kat and a can of coke.
It tasted good and filled a gap which is all I could ask for.
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
The entertainment consisted of the flight map and the scenery below.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
All the staff were professional when serving the meal and asking for drink orders. They were happy
to get anything and had a positive attitude towards their work.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
We arrived quickly and de planed via a jetway. The line for customs was slow as only 3 desks were
open for a number of flights. We eventually made it through and had to wait 5 minutes for our
luggage to come through. We did notice a couple who's bag's had not turned up.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
For the price I couldn't have asked for anything else. Despite the flight leaving a bit
late due to traffic, we made it all up en-route and arrived on time into MUC. I still ask the
question if it is worth serving food on such a short flight. All in all, a comfortable flight.
