DEPARTURE
Emirates have the right idea when it comes to looking after their Business class passengers in the
UK. Pick up form home is included in the ticket price. Just a shame they dont have a similar system
to Virgin who check you in in the car then drop you right next to the Fast Track security area. The
Emirates lounge was comfortable enough, although it seems airlines like to put these low backed
seats in their lounges which become more uncomfortable the longer you sit in them.
CABIN
Cabin was very clean and everything was in its place

SEATING
This is where Emirates let me down. I was under the impression that EK was one of the best business
class airlines - not so in my opinion. They advertise their wonderful new service on
their website but I never saw it on any of the 4 legs. From LHR-DXB I ended up in a bulkhead seat.
Even with the seat fully reclined I had to put my feet up onto the dividing wall to get any level of
comfort. The seats are wide enough for sitting but they dont recline sufficiently to allow
comfortable sleeping. Once onto the DXB-BLR leg the seats were even worse - very narrow and more
like a premium economy seat on Virgin. After 10 hours flying time and 3 hours in the lunge I still
hadn't managed to sleep. Not ideal preparation for a meeting.
CATERING
Catering was fair on all legs - nothing special
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
Again, they advertise their wonderful IFE system - well I didnt see it. All legs had the old system
with the option of asking the crew for a video to watch something else - the one I tried was
obviously overused as the picture was awful.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
The staff were very good - attentive when they needed to be, then left you alone.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Transfer at DXB was fine - there are 2 lounges at DXB - one is horrendous, the other is pretty good.
Arrival in India was as expected
CUSTOMER VERDICT
Overall very disappointed in EK's service. I think I will avoid them until they have upgraded their
service on all their jets and they have moved to their new terminal at DXB
