DEPARTURE
Marsa Alam is a being upgraded to accomodate the sudden increase in travellers to this region. It is
very basic. At check in they don't even have computers. They simply hand out pre-printed boarding
cards. However, we had no real problems, nor long waits. Flight was on time.
CABIN
Very clean Airbus A320.

SEATING
They have about 5 rows of business at the front, and the rest is economy. Comfortable leather seats
with decent leg room.
CATERING
Average or above average quality.
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
Small screens that fold down from the overhead provide entertainment and a movie. The earphones cost
4CHF, but you can keep them for your return flight.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
As good as, or slightly better than usual european airline. We had pulled rotten seats at the
check in counter lottery (last row). So as soon as we sat down I asked the stewardes if the plane
was full, and if not, could we be re-seated away from the lavatories. This occured promptly when the
plane doors were shut. Ended up being seated in the first economy row.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
No problems. Usual Zurich airport arrival. Though, since this was the plane's last journey of the
day, we were parked away from the building and brought in by bus.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
Highly recommendable charter airline. Better than most European airlines. When you consider that
Edelweiss Air destinations are quite exotic, and usually served by a few dodgy airlines, this is a
great alternative.
