DEPARTURE

Booked tickets online so it was easy. Always book ahead so you can get cheaper fares.waited for a few minutes before we were checked in as the previous passenger had excess baggage.I had 2 bags with 18 kgs each so we repacked in our hand bags. They informed us flight was delayed by 30 minutes.


CABIN

Free seating on Air Asia so be at the gate early to get good seats - there are some seats in on over wing exit which are good too. The 737-800 looks old and tired. Cabin appeared clean.


SEATING

Seating is 3-3 on this 737-800. Nice leather seats but aircraft looks old and seats are quite small so not good for big bodies.


CATERING

Food for purchase available. Limited choices for vegetarians as they only had tuna sandwich. There was beverages and soft drinks and cup noodles to sandwiches available. They are priced on slightly higher side.


CABIN STAFF SERVICE

The senior girl in the front was smiling but the one in the back was not smiling and happy to serve. I think she was not happy to do her job and was just waiting to get off the plane!


FLIGHT ARRIVAL

Since all Lcc are parked away from main terminal we had to wait for a bus to the main terminal taking us about 10 minutes to the arrival hall. When we reached our bags were there in a couple of minutes.


CUSTOMER VERDICT

Overall a good experience but would travel with them as good price but they offer only 15 kgs of baggage which is a little difficult if you have travelled international or you pay the excess baggage which works out to the same as a scheduled carrier like Thai. But would travel with them as good value for money.
