DEPARTURE
Flight scheduled to leave at 10:30 AM with boarding at 9:30. They told everyone to prepare for
boarding. We stood for almost 20 minutes untill they announced there was a slight delay. 10 minutes
later they said boarding was starting. Waited another 30 minutes standing waiting for them to tell
us we could enter. Finally we boarded at 10:15.
CABIN
Dark blue leather seats. Television screens are located in the middle
every 15 rows or so. If you are at the back it's hard to see the screens.
SEATING
Seats are horrid - pitch is horrible! Barely any leg room which makes it impossible to keep
smaller carry on luggage under the seat because you can never open it!
CATERING
Beef served with cold rice and veggies. Pasta on the side but was cold. Cold bun, and dessert was a
chocolate cake. Just your average airline food.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
The cabin crew were very efficient. Very well trained but they don't seem trained to be happy while
doing there job. Most of the crew never smiled. I pressed the call button for a drink and the girl
asked "Is there a reason why you pressed the call button?" I don't think it was meant to be rude but
it's not like I pressed it for the fun of it.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Busy day in YYZ so customs took a long time. When we got to baggage claim, our flight was listed for
Carousel 6. Only some passengers baggage showed up. The ground crew accidenly put the remaining
baggage onto carousel 7 and 8 which made a mess since there was already 4 other flights on each.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
Considering Air Transat is one of the largest all charter airlines they seem to do a good job. But
seat pitch is horrible. I will not be flying Transat again.
