DEPARTURE

Montpellier Méditerranée Airport is very good. Check-in was very fast. No lounges, but a large, clean and airy boarding room with a bar. Boarding (by row) was on time.


CABIN

Old Airbus A320 that Air France uses only on domestic routes now. However, it was clean and ambience was nice.


SEATING

Seats comfortable but legroom could have been better - it was enough for this one hour flight.


CATERING

Excellent catering for an economy short-haul flight! Soon after take-off, we were given a sandwich and a cake, with a large choice of free beverages including coffee and tea. Air France is one of few major airlines who still gives catering on short and medium-haul flights.


CABIN STAFF SERVICE

Staff were nice and helpful. Their uniforms designed by Christian Lacroix are elegant but simple.


FLIGHT ARRIVAL

Landed at Orly airport on time. We had to reach the terminal by bus because the main building was being renovated. Baggage delivery was fast. Good airport, maybe even better than CDG when renovation ends next year.


CUSTOMER VERDICT

I was impressed because AF has improved a lot, on long and medium-haul routes. Their only problem is the Europe Business Class which is a joke.
