DEPARTURE
CDG is always a mess. But boarding was well organized and the agents were kind and professional.
They used one bridge only and through first class, which was quite uncomfortable for both First and
Business class passangers.
CABIN
Excellent. Very clean and tidy. It was one of the newer (not the newest though) 777-300s. The
ambience was very nice and welcoming.
SEATING
The older B-class setup, 2 x 3 x 2. Seat pitch very good, the seat recline worked very well and even
though it is not the newest product, it is a five star b-class setup to me.
CATERING
Fantastic (as usual with AF). Ideal and extensive enough menu, including foie gras as a starter and a
choice of three main courses (one of them is a daily special and is on a separate sheet attached to
the menu). The menus are still nice, keeping up with the AF fashion. Not too many colours, nothing
wild but elegant. Food was very fresh and tasty, nothing to complain about at all. Dessert was better than the one
served in one of the top cafeteries on Champs Elysses. Champagne was Piper Heidsieck NV, both red
and white wines were excellent.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
The crew who looked after F and B class was absolutely flawless. Smiling, attentive, professional.
Could be a bit more personalized though, but understand the flight was completely full. The Cabin
Service Director was not that much involved and was not really the most "crispy" and smiling one,
but the other Purser and the other staff were superb. The crew wore new uniforms designed by
Christian Lacroix - very fashionable and elegant, loved it. The Purser announced it actually upon
departure.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Perfect. Luggage was on time and the customs were not too bad.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
Excellent flight. I would definitely fly Business class on Air France again.
