DEPARTURE

Cork airport is currently building a state of the art terminal and multi story car park this has impacted the entry/exit roads, and car parking badly. One check in desk was open for the flight, which was fine, although the agent was slow. Ground service was the usual. Acceptable, but not fantastic.

CABIN

This aircraft was a new A320 with navy leather seats. The cabin was spotless. Although the carpet was already looking slightly worn in the aisles. There was plenty of overhead storage also.

SEATING

The new leather seats are excellent, fully adjustable, and have plenty of recline. Pitch is much more restricted than previously. In the region of 30" - fine for a flight of this duration though.

CATERING

All consumables have to be paid for, as part of the skyCafé programme. The food is on the steep side, and selection is a bit limited, but the quality is very good.

CABIN STAFF SERVICE

The cabin crew did a good job on this flight, and apologised for our very late departure, due to a check-in error and late arrival of incoming aircraft from Amsterdam. They served the skyCafe programme swiftly with the younger pair of attendants freindly and sincere.

FLIGHT ARRIVAL

Paris de Gaulle is a horrible airport. Its old, filthy. dark, and disgusting. No Aeroports de Paris agents were visible, and the signage to anywhere in the airport is non existant. I would hate to connect through this airport.

CUSTOMER VERDICT

They are slated for their low cost attitude, but I think that Aer Lingus is back on form. Much improved.
