DEPARTURE

Very efficient. Every thing went smoothly although the flight was departing from Terminal 2C which usually is a nightmare.


CABIN

Airbus A340 bi-class (ie business and economy) with the new cabin layout. Very luxurious, relaxing, full of space and light.


SEATING

New lie-flat seats with a 13° angle. The seat fonctions are quiet difficult to get used to as one can't lower the seat back independently from the legrest, due to pre-progrmmed seat positions. So one has to go through all seating positions to go from lying to seating for lunch. The IFE must be improved.


CATERING

Excellent as usual from AF. A festival of gastronomy with excellent wine and champagne.


CABIN STAFF SERVICE

Always smiling, respectful of the passengers need of quietness and rest.


FLIGHT ARRIVAL

Newark airport Delta terminal is brand new, clean and efficient. My bag was missing as i was connecting from GVA. I had to go to Delta's desk as AF has no office in EWR. I was told my bag would be on the next day flight. Arriving on friday, my bag was delivered at my hotel in manhattan sunday morning. This was due to the late arrival of the flight on saturday afternoon and the secutrity and custom check that always takes at least 5 hours.


CUSTOMER VERDICT

Besides the missing bag, I found my flight experience fantastic. Outstanding FA and service.
