DEPARTURE
Check-in at LHR was very fast - no lines at 6:30am, although the check-in staff were somewhat
robotic and unhelpful.
CABIN
The cabin was very clean, with blue seats and red headrests. (The old Canadian interior.) The
2x3-2 configuration of the 767 is nice and doesn't feel quite so cramped as larger aircraft.
SEATING
The seat pitch was more than generous, particularly in the exit row. The seats had a very generous
recline as well, although lacked the winged headrests and foot rests available on the Airbus fleet.
Nonetheless, comfortable and certainly acceptable for an 8 hour flight.
CATERING
The choices were somewhat limited - scrambled eggs or an omlette. The quantities were generous
though, and the quality acceptable. Same thing with the snack - two types of pizza, so not much
variety, but decent quality.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
Cabin staff were helpful and responsive. Water runs were made a few times during the flight,
although they did disappear for about two hours following breakfast.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Arrival in Toronto was about 30 minutes behind schedule, and it took AC Ground 30 minutes to deliver
the bags. This was not acceptable, although announcements were made in the baggage claim to keep
passangers informed of the delay.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
AC service was friendly, but nothing special. They need to start looking into updating the cabins
of their 767s as they are no longer matching the products put forth by the competition. An ok
flight on an ok airline. Not an experience I'm rushing to repeat, but not one I would avoid.
