DEPARTURE

Toronto airport will be very nice once all the contruction is out of the way, but at the moment it's quite a hassle. AC Ground staff were somewhat robotic. Not outgoing and helpful, but not rude - just there.

CABIN

Aircraft was an A330. Cabin very clean and well lit. Green/Grey seating colorscheme is very nice - provides a relaxing ambiance.

SEATING

The legroom on Air Canada is very generous, but there's one big flaw. On the A330 they have spaces in the seatbacks where the TV should be, but there is none - and the infamous "box" is under every other seat, reducing legroom. Good recline though.

CATERING

Food was great. Choice of chicken or beef, and both were served with pasta and salad and a desert, and in decent quantity. Very tasty.

CABIN STAFF SERVICE

Cabin staff were good. Very polite and helpful when actually in the cabin, but did to the disappearing act after the meal. They made one water run during the night, but certainly had time for more.

FLIGHT ARRIVAL

Arrival was 20 minutes early. Baggage service was very helpful when one of my bags was lost. They found it within 20 minutes.

CUSTOMER VERDICT

For what I paid (which was very little) AC was not bad. Service was very average. I wouldn't avoid it, but I'm not running back for more.
