DEPARTURE
Overcrowded CGD Terminal F2, due to Terminal E incident. Boarding on time. We took a bus to go to the
airplane which was far away from the terminal.
CABIN
Airbus A340 so very friendly (not like 777). The plane seemed to be a bit old and somehow tired but
looked clean and fresh.
SEATING
L'espace" seats second generation but not the new cabin. So old style seat. Very confortable and
large. As a BA frequent flyer I thought I would not sleep unless the seat turns into a fully flat
bed. I was wrong I slept for more than 6 hours!
CATERING
No "plat du jour". Choice of 2 entrées, 2 main courses, cheese and 2
desserts. Foies gras was fantastic and the beef excellent. Sorbets for dessert. The food was very
tasty. Breakfast, fruit salad, yogurt and pancakes. The best airlines breakfast ever. The pancakes
were soft and the pineapple compote delicious.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
The crew was very welcoming, helpful and happy to do their best to please the passengers. Service
was excellent. The stewardess even asked me if I slept well.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
No problems. The plane was the first to land and we passed through imigration very quickly, not like
in Sao Paulo where it takes nearly one hours as many international flights arrive at the same time.
The bad point was that my bag, which was tagged "priority", was the last on the belt.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
This was a fantastic flight. I hope the flight back to Paris will be as good as this one but I know by flying a lot that
FA flying back to their home base are more tired and so more grumpy.
