Arrived at the airport at 2pm which is the busiest time of the day at Dublin airport. Very confusing
where to check in. Used the quick checkin and dropped my bags within 5 minutes. Note: quick checkin
can also be used if you have a paper ticket - just key in the booking number.
CABIN
Times have changed for the better at EI - it was a new A320 with black leather seats - decent
legroom also.Cabin was clean and the crew were willing to help with luggage for this full flight
SEATING
Excellent seats - black leather with the Aerlingus logo on the back. The headrests were adjustable
which is handy if you want to sleep.
CATERING
You have to purchase your food and drink. I paid 5euro for a Gin and Tonic which is a fair price. A
wider selection of food would be good.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
Could not fault them - although one or two that spoke German would help. They were very attentive
and efficient yet with a relaxed Irish manner. Nothing was any trouble.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Docked at Muc Terminal 1 - its now showing its age. Baggage arrived within 15 minutes.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
For a two hour flight that cost 160euro the whole experience left me thinking that the crews
attitude and the new plane was top notch. Dublin airport needs to get its act together regarding
checkin - where it rapidly needs improvement.
