DEPARTURE

Check-in by Delta. Nice facilities but very slow staff. 45 minutes to reach the counter - and 25 minutes to get our boarding passes. Travelling with two children, would have expected someone to have us reach the counter quicker ( First and Business counters were empty most of the time ). Terrible Airport Security checks : very arrogant staff, very aggressive answers to my innocent questions - "back off".


CABIN

The plane was coming from Papeete (Tahiti) and was full. Although not brand new (it was a Boeing 747-400 and not one of the new Airbus or 777) the cabin was clean and attractive (liked the new blue color scheme).


SEATING

Nice and very comfortable seats.


CATERING

Dinner was served just after some drinks and pretzels. Good food - excellent melon and prosciutto, red wine chicken with tagliatelle pasta (quite risky to serve pasta but they were very good), fresh red prune - long time since I have not seen fresh fruits on a tray and pastry, large quantity (could not finish my hot entree) and nice wines. Children meals (that I had ordered and confirmed two times) were missing but the crew was nice to serve some children meals available.


CABIN STAFF SERVICE

Very friendly welcome and service. Smiles were there.


FLIGHT ARRIVAL

Landing on time. 1 hour to get the luggage due to technical problem with the equipment.


CUSTOMER VERDICT

A very good flight in general.
