DEPARTURE
I actually flew from Amsterdam, so CDG was just a transit airport. Some chaos there nowadays due to
the collapse, but the queues are well organized albeit a bit slow and frustrating.
CABIN
The aircraft was an A340-300. The cabin was nice and clean, not too surprising as this was the home
base for the airline.
SEATING
Very impressive with a lot of legroom and footrests even in economy class. Ideally suited for a tall
and fat guy like me. Personal TV monitors were available with a very high standard of inflight
entertainment.
CATERING
For a country famous for food like France, its national airline can do better. The choice was
between beef and salmon. I went for the beef and found it pretty bad. Could do with some
improvement. They also served snacks before landing, which was good.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
Quite attentive without being on-your-face. As always, the female FA's do a better job than the
males.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Nothing to complain about except the immigration at Boston which is basically run by a bunch of
street thugs and bullies! But Air France is not responsible for that.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
Quite a nice airline, with decent caring service. Could do with some improvement on the food front ,
though. I would fly them again.
