ALASKA AIRLINES
Customer Ranking :
ECONOMY CLASS - Oakland to Seattle
April 2004
DEPARTURE
Pretty good with check-in, pretty fast. Flight was delayed two hours though, and it got pretty
boring with the lack of services in Oakland. I did get put in the next flight also, but that got
delayed six hours.
CABIN
The Boeing 737-400 Very clean and bright. Plane seemed like it was practically new, a very nice
plane to fly on.
SEATING
It was a full flight since the other Seattle-bound flight was delayed, that flights passenger were
trying to stuff themselves on board, making it very cramped.
CATERING
There was only a beverage and peanuts, instead of the meal originally planned for the flight, but
the flight had a heavy tailwind, so I was fine with the food, considering the flight was only a hour
and a half.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
Very nice flight attendants, very professional too. Considering the flight was now full, they
handled the flight well.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Landed and deboarded quickly, I spent about a half hour waiting for my bag, only later to find out
it was put on the flight I was on standby for. Wasn't too happy about that, but they did deliver my
bags to my home the next day.
CUSTOMER VERDICT
Overall it wasn't my worse travel experience, but the staff on the ground in both Oakland and
Seattle need some working on. But the inflight service and cabin staff really compensated for it
making it not too bad.
