My family and I had the pleasure of using the new Jetstar Gold Coast lounge and can highly recommend it to all Jetstar passengers flying out of the Gold Coast. $5AUS per adult introductory rate with kids 6 and under free! Understand normal charge is expected to be around $10-15 per adult. Lounge is located after security check so passengers only. Made to feel very welcome, kids are extremely welcome - they even have a kids movie room and a play area loaded with books, toys and a kids tv. One of my kids is autistic and it was the perfect place for him to wait for plane with plenty to keep him entertained. Several families using lounge. Food was just superb with pancakes and cakes for morning tea then all sorts of delicacies brought out for lunch including sushi, soup, quiches, rolls, cold meats and salads. Self service bar with good range of drinks, wines. Lounge was extremely clean and staff very efficient and helpful. Even if it costs you $15 in future to use it is well worth it as food prices in terminal are high. Jetstar is onto a winner here and lets hope they introduce more lounges around the network!
