Comfortable seat on Economy with loads of extra gadgets like in-seat power-points for your laptop. Entertainment system is really good. It has all the settings you need. Only problem, the cushioning was a little to hard, but the soft pillows helped. Seat reclined quite nicely, much more to make you fall asleep but not disturbing the person sitting behind you. If you can't get the A380 to Sydney from Singapore, I recommend SQ 233. Don't try your luck with the 747s. They still haven't been upgraded and it's terrible.

Managed to obtain bulkhead seats on SQ 832. Seat was fairly comfortable. Has to take out PTV from seat, unlike B777-300ER where the PTV at the bulkhead seats were mounted on the wall. It is comfortable for a medium haul flight.

Had window seat 72K on the upper deck. This seat is aligned with the front row of the centre section where they seat passengers with babies. I find a lot of Y class seats hard, and this was no exception. I struggled to get comfortable. The legroom was adequate, but could have been slightly improved if they got rid of the footrests. At 19" this seat is wider than the industry average, and I wasn't fighting for the armrest with the passenger next to me. Best in seat video screen I've ever seen in Y, and 3 different power sockets for laptops. The window seat on the upper deck of the A380 has the added bonus of a small storage locker between the seat and the window.

Brand new one week old 777 300ER - a cradle type of seat with fair recline -passenger in front reclining was not annoying. Super wide screen with usual excellent choice of movies etc. Booked centre aisle and centre middle for self and wife so no disturbance by others. Seat noticably more comfortable than 777 200 - softer and deeper.

I had a seat G in row 80 on upper deck. As this row is between emergency exits there is lot of space between rows 79 and 80. Seat width is really good as well.

Unfortunately, if the person in front of you has his seat reclined all the way, it is impossible to see screen. Also, can be hard to exit if people are reclined in front of you.

The economy class on the Airbus A380 Singapore Airlines was above adequate in terms of long distance travel. The seat provided good entertainment, food, service, legroom, etc.

Overall a very nice airline. As one of only a handful of "5-star" rated airlines, I guess I was expecting a bit more.

Flew with AVOD equiped regional configured B777-200 on the PER-SIN sector. Legroom was more than adequate for me, and much better than Qantas's A333's on this sector. The footrests are an added bonus but a bit redundant as not many people use them. Seat was pretty comfortable, but slightly too hard for my liking. The lumbar support helped to soften the seat a bit.
