Travelling as a couple on the 777-300ER means that there are only 3 rows at the back of double seats
together and 1 row in the mid-cabin of double seats. These seats are very comfortable and we slept
9 hours out of 14 from TPE-LAX. If you are after seat pitch, then row 68 (the window seats on both
sides) offer more legroom than others due to the curvature of the cabin and the spacing of the rows
- although consequently the aisle seats in these blocks appear to have slightly reduced seatpitch -
so access past a neighbour could be an issue. IFE good and easy to use.

Legroom space
Upper deck economy class 3x3 seating. Outward leg was in the exit row (85) and had more leg room
then business class! Only 11 rows in the upper deck and all seats economy with more leg room then
normal economy. Return leg (86) and had middle and window seats. Excellent leg room and little
shelf next to window seat was very handy. Had a walk around the rest of the plane and the downstairs
economy looked awful - no room and very squashed. Request for the upper deck on the long flights
it's worth it!

Legroom space
From SIN to SFO via TPE. This is relevant to the second part of the flight. The seat pitch and the
seat width was fine. But the legroom space was atrocious. It's almost like your shin is meant to be
glued to the tray table and the footrest wasn't fully functional; it was a little inoperative.
Overall, the seat comfort was poor; although the aircraft was relatively clean.

I found that the footrest did not extend up enough, which made my lower thighs carry my leg weight
when footrest extended. Seat was a little hard, however, plenty of elbow and leg room.

Loads of space for those of us with long legs. 34" pitch makes it comfortable, and allows you to get sleep on the flight
