A spacious, quiet & relaxation lounge with individual sitting room, but no doors for those sitting
rooms & no privacy at all as everyone pass-by can see what you're doing especially you're handling
some business documents & telephone conversation with my client via the phone.
Location is too far away, takes time to approach the boarding gate, quite tough for me as my hands
were holding the suitcases & walking for a long long corridor;
Service is up to standard. Staff were cheerful; Food selection was very disappointed for a First
Class lounge; No refill for those snacks & sandwiches; Beverage selection is fine.

A very nice lounge, maybe the buggy ride from the escalator to the lounge is a bit OTT. Very
attentive service and a wide range of drinks/food available, with different menus for different
times of the day. All food/drink is served by the staff so no need to queue to help yourself.
On the down side a bit of a hike to go to the shops. No announcements made but personally called to
board your flight.

The concourse C lounge is touch-and-go as far as crowds are concerned, but usually ok. I
usually leave around lunchtime and it's quite quiet, but in the evenings it has been very crowded.
I don't understand why so many chairs are grouped into 4's as the resulting "1 passenger and his
bags on another chair" effectively halves the number of seats available, particularly if you don't
want to sit by a stranger.
Food has never been good - pastries, odd sandwiches made with canned vegetables and mayo. Liquid
refreshments are fine, particularly the canned Chrysanthemum juice.
Toilet facilities also fine, and at least there's no embarrassingly-placed mirror on the urinals as
there is in the RS lounge close to check in - but the one fundamental lack in any lounge is probably the most crucial - departure screens.

Hard work finding the lounge after arriving into a different pier of the airport.
It is a very big and light / airy space that Thai now has here - split between a large
open plan area of seating and a selection of smaller rooms stretched out down the side
of the main lounge. Comfy seating, and a large staffed bar at one end.
There is meant to be a restaurant but not working and apparently won't be for 2-3 months
which was a disappointment. Large choice of internet stations and wifi in lounge worked okay.
Small choice of self serve food, but poor for a top first class lounge. There are several
nicely fitted shower rooms, but hot water was not readily available, and water pressure in the
shower meant this was almost useless!
Staff as always very friendly - just hope next time I come through the lounge can offer some
of the promised facilities that are missing. |

The lounge is located in the West Wing of the Y Shape lounge.
I was on Air Canada flight to Toronto. I picked Thai Airways lounge as
my resort for an hour.
Not very big, around 10 internet outlets. Very airy with view of the
tarmac. I was not sure about WiFi as I did not have my laptop with me at
that time.
Staff very friendly, plenty of nice sofa seats. Massage chairs
available. Internet area not very clean. Food fantastic with pasta, dim
sum, salad, many tropical fruits, all kinds of drinks and wine.
Generally speaking, better than the Red Carpet next door for Star
Alliance members.

Fairly dark and gloomy along the narrow length of the lounge. Not as well decorated as the Don Muang
Lounges they have replaced. Very poor toilet facilities and no showers that I could see, but there
are some nice couches in quiet rooms that look OK.
Terrible air-conditioning - hot in some areas, cold in others. Pretty poor bar / snack facilities strangely with a step-up onto a congested
platform where everyone seems to be in each others way. The food and drink choices are OK though. No
flight information screens in the lounge.
Overall not impressed and much room for improvement.

What's good? It's comfortable, very large and quiet. Seating is set out largely in pairs
acknowledging that most people travelling in business aren't part of large parties. Good free
internet access.
What's not so good? The catering is poor for a brand new international business
lounge and is the same as that available in domestic - sandwiches, some sweet and savoury pastries
and fruit - which was not kept topped up. Additionally, there are no views of any other part of the
airport. I like to watch the comings and goings on the tarmac!
What's poor? No announcements are made concerning flights which is fair enough until you consider they have no screens either. You
have to guess if your flight is boarding or delayed any further (the desk only have access to
details on Thai flights so tough luck if you're travelling with anyone else). It is a good 5 minute
walk to the nearest screen displaying any flight information. Absolutely farcical and utterly
symptomatic of the lack of attention to the user experience which characterises the new airport at
Bangkok.

Only 3 lounges open at that time and the main one after immigration was HUGE, though by 10 pm it is
pretty much full. There are reclining chairs and smaller rooms
available and at least 3 food / beverage areas serving noodles, rice, pastries etc.
One shower available at the smaller lounge a short walk at area C. Towels provided along with soap, shampoo and conditioner.
A nice place though much smaller than the main lounge. I don't know how they can manage one shower
suite in this lounge |
