Although a little dark in places, the seating is comfortable and lounge is quite spacious. Good range
of food and drinks, the buffet breakfast is really good. Great range of newspapers and magazines.
Staff at the door are welcoming and helpful with any flight queries.

Considering this is Business Class it is very basic - TV blaring in the background, limited food and
refreshments, grumpy staff and virtually no English language newspapers, and no magazines. Very
disappointed.

Terminal 1 at CDG is awful as a building, and the lounge is not very easy to locate. A long walk from here to the
boarding gate, and you still have to clear security after leaving the lounge. Polite staff on duty, but nothing more than
a "bonjour" offered. The First Class lounge section is quite small, seating up to about 30-40 passengers. reasonable choice of reading
materials, a small self serve bar and some snacks. Breads, cheese, sandwiches and a hot soup seems to be the standard offering.
Small toilet at the back of the lounge, no shower facility provided. WiFi easy to connect, and a couple of internet terminals
also available to use. No boarding calls made, but I was lucky that Air China staff came to lounge and advised me of boarding time.
By long-haul first class standards this lounge is not up to much, and really geared more for short-haul travel needs.

Ugly lounge with poor seating comfort, poor internet services, no good snacks or dishes. Even
worse, the personnel is very noisy (shouting, laughing, making lots of noise with empty
glasses and bottles). Completely impossible to relax in that environment. Will definitely
avoid ZRH for transfer in the future.

Reasonably comfortable large lounge, but felt claustrophobic with low ceiling and no windows.
Seating not too easy to find, but comfortable enough with plenty of reading material. Food
selection poor. Drink selection reasonable. No announcements. Used shower which was good
(remember it from old BA lounge that it used to be!), floors seemed rather dirty with spilt
food lying around, as if little cleaning had happened all day. A reasonable lounge, but by no
means the best at Heathrow. Will be concerned if this lounge isn't larger when the Terminal 2
Star Alliance airlines start using Terminal 1!

What a difference to the old airside lounge and temporary lounge at Cologne airport! Very good
selection of food and drinks with plenty of seating, even on a Friday evening. If only all Lufthansa
lounges could be like this. This was the Senator/Star Alliance Gold Lounge upstairs so can't comment
on the business lounge downstairs but I was impressed at last by a Lufthansa lounge.

This LAX Star Alliance Business class lounge seems to suffer the same malaise which is present in
the LAX Tom Bradley International Terminal. It is unprofessionally run, it is has not invested in
appropriate levels of service for its customers and it advertises promises which it fails to
deliver. In short it is a disgrace to the US. I recall the PR blast which accompanied the lounge
opening about 12 months. "The food on offer would reflect the global diversity of the member
carriers of the Star Alliance partner airlines." When I used the lounge on the evening of 5th
October 2008 the only food on offer were poor quality cookies and steamed rice. The place was dirty
and full of unclean tables. The staff were disinterested and seemed to be working without any
supervision. In future I will use SFO instead of LAX as my entry point to the US.

A pleasant place to while away a couple of hours on the 4th floor of the Tom Bradley Terminal. Large
windows provide ample natural light. Good selection of beverages representing the various tastes of
the Star Alliance carriers using this terminal. Self-serve buffet included three hot items and a
variety of cold snacks. The very pleasant lounge staff were vigilant in cleaning and restocking the
buffet area. The feel of the lounge is somewhat cheapened by the laminate flooring and Ikea
furniture.

We had the opportunity to experience the new Star Alliance lounge in Terminal 1 of London Heathrow.
Our visit was on the third day the lounge had been open so there seem to be a number of issues being
worked out by the staff. The wi-fi service was not up and running yet but they had hoped it would
be in the next couple of days. Although we did not use the showers there was an obvious flooding
problem. The lavatories were okay as far as cleanliness however the handle of the stall door came
right off into my hand when opening. The paper towel dispensers were in operable - instead rolls of
paper towels were left on the counter. Communication was awkward between the staff and travelers.
I’m not sure if they intend to have an overhead PA system in place but the staff had to wander
around and find everyone from our flight every time there was a status update (our flight was
delayed 3 hours due to weather and mechanical issues.) Also, communications between the staff and
airlines seemed very much delayed or non-existent. Otherwise the lounge is quite spacious with
plenty of different arrangements for seating and viewing TV. Overall we found it quite comfortable
for our extended wait. There were plenty of food options including salad, sandwiches, fresh fruit,
desserts, soup and beverages. The wine selection on this day was poor. Clean up service of the
lounge was frequent. There was also a good selection of periodicals. We suspect that this lounge
will probably have most of the kinks worked out over the coming weeks making it a fine place to
relax or get some work done before traveling.

Poor welcome (or rather no welcome) but reasonably efficient lounge used by a variety of carriers,
which actually adds to the intrigue of some of these joint user lounges. Seating I first tied was
not very pleasant but found the seating area on the eastern side (?) rather than northern area
somewhat better and more private. Wine/coffee/snacks selection good. However, in common with many
European Airport lounges, I had to leave the lounge to find the washrooms and share these with many
other people. OK if you are in the mood but then have to enter the lounge again. Took me a while to
locate the lounge in the first place. Nice views of airport operations etc.

Terminal 3 in Changi is a beautiful building, so I was looking forward to seeing the new lounge. It
was a big disappointment. Very crowded, felt cramped with a small food and beverage area. Not a
patch on their other lounges around the globe. For their flagship airport I would expect a lot more
from Star Alliance.

First visit to the new lounge complex while on a Swiss Flight to Zurich. Definitively a great leap
forward in comparison to the old lounges at LAX with comfortable chairs and a cosy colour scheme.
Nice view on the airport. There is free wifi, but I struggled to get a connection. The little snacks
(at 4pm) were nice and of very good quality. The selection of drinks could be better - business
class level at best. I also took a peek into the business class section, where there is a nice bar
with a view on the check-in area. All in all, I spend some relaxing time.
