Visited the lounge on my flight back to Australia. This is signposted as the American Airlines
Admirals club, however is shared with Qantas. As a Qantas Club member you receive drink vouchers at
the bar. (as they are not free) You also have to purchase food (other than some cookies or pretzels)
The lounge is fairly clean and has fairly sophisticated furniture and fairly spacious. There are
internet stations in the far corner of the lounge however you need to be a American Airlines
Admirals Club member to have complimentary access to Wi-Fi for your laptop. Bathrooms fairly clean.
Front desk attendants very friendly and welcoming.

Lounge is quite small and gets very crowded before the LAX flight departs and only has one computer
with internet access. Food and beverage is not bad but could be better.
Its a shame that Qantas has renovated the SYD and MEL lounges but not Brisbane as it does get used
by a great number of people.
Staff were friendly enough but nothing special. Overall a pretty disappointing lounge for what is
supposed to be a major focus airport for Qantas.

The new lounge is an architecture wonder and very spacious. Despite numerous Qantas staff, service
was slow. Self serve food was limited: e.g. mediterranean vegetable focacias. No self serve drinks,
which was OK but with only one barman, a queue formed. Veuve Cliquot champagne was delicious. Dining
room menu looked great, but who has the time to wait?
You would need a couple of hours in the lounge
prior to boarding to enjoy what it has to offer. I don't know about other 1st class travellers, but
I typically do not check-in more than 2 hours before a flight. With security screening, immigration,
etc. and gate closure 15 mins before flight, this leaves little time to spend in the lounge.

Adequate, quiet but enclosed and gloomy. This is the BA/QF lounge, which we've always found conveniently
located. The food is cardboard and the drinks limited. Usually transiting at some ungodly hour so just want
somewhere to freshen up.
Less crowded than the SIA First lounge so that's a plus but the seats are
uncomfortable. Beverages limited. Pleasant but nothing to write home about in comparison with CX First lounge in
HK or Qantas new First lounge in Sydney.

This has to be one of the best lounges ever. Well done Qantas. We sat down for a quick meal and glass of wine
before embarking on a holiday where we'd be visiting 12 different airports. The food was freshly cooked with a
good selection of wine. Served with a smile.
Seats comfortable, internet and business facilities good. Now, if only Qantas could get its inflight quality (variable service, passable seats that don't work in First and tired
cabins) half as good.

This lounge is big, to give the other poster his due, but that's about all it's got going for it
IMHO. There is the most minimal amount of boring and cheap food available, the soft drinks are
almost non-existent (apart from a post mix machine that is very weak on flavour) and you are not
allowed to store your carry on luggage there while you wander around the airport - a service that I
treasure and one of the reasons I use lounges. I know, security, but it it's gone through the 3 or
4 check that are now mandatory I don't see the problem. When Singapore airport has free wifi
everywhere; there are clean facilities and great cheap food and drinks, why else would you both to
trek all the way to the Qantas lounge which is - as the previous poster said - a long way from
shops and check in areas.

Lounge is shared with American Airlines Admirals Club. Is located a 2 minute walk from the main
terminal. You take the elevator up one floor from the main level or can walk up a set of stairs if
feeling energetic.
The lounge is smallish in size (not tiny) and has a fair selection of food,
beverages, alcohol, complimentary internet access etc. Service from front desk staff is very good
too. Were able to check in at the lounge as we were in transit from an inter-island flight and had
checked our bags through from Maui.
