Tired looking lounge with dated decor. Staff pleasant and professional. Limited selection of
food & beverages. Washrooms provide very basic facilities and need updating. Screen for
flights info only at entrance; no other screen is available elsewhere in lounge, though
boarding calls were made. Wifi available. Free massage available to Business passengers. One
would think NZ has its best lounge at its hub - if you think that, you will sure be disappointed.

Nice, modern and large lounge with view to the tarmac. Clean modern washrooms and showers.
Good selection of beverages. Choice of hot and cold dishes. Friendly staff. Internet/Wifi
available but did not use this service. Easily the best lounge at SYD Terminal 2, and possibly
the best NZ lounge.

Air New Zealand does not have its own lounge at HKG. Air New Zealand pax can use any one of
the Star Alliance lounges, Thai Business lounge is closest to Air New Zealand departure gate.
Nice modern lounge with view to tarmac. Pleasant staff. Great choice of food & beverages. Hot
& cold, oriental & Western dishes available. Desserts including ice cream also available.
Computer terminals with internet access available. Wifi is available. Clean but basic washrooms.

Beautiful wood, seating is comfortable, everything looks new. It's New Zealand style design,
with ferns and a very natural feel. The buffet was fantastic, and so was the shower (I flew
Osaka to Christchurch, and we had an hour layover in Christchurch before the final leg to
Auckland.) The only problem was that the staff did not provide a boarding call. I happened
to walk by a monitor and saw that my flight was on its final call for boarding! Very
disappointed in that lack of service. Otherwise, fantastic. I do not know if they had wifi
but they have several computers with internet access (no charge to use).

Very small and cramped lounge where you felt you were sitting on top of everyone else in the
room, Approx 18 seats with a small selection of food and beverages, Hopefully when the new
airport is opened the lounge would be bigger, spacious and provide a better selection of
beverage and food.

Used the Air NZ Lounge before boarding NZ 005 departing LAX at 10-30 pm. One hour before
boarding time there was no food at all and I was told that the lounge was already closed.
One employee was nice enough to bring out some bread and cheese from the kitchen on my
request. Lounge staff removing all food one hour before the last flight is boarding? Next
thing maybe they're locking up all drinks as well.

Have used this lounge before as a Virgin Atlantic passenger. A relaxed atmosphere with very
friendly staff. Reasonable selection of cold meat and salads, plenty of good NZ wines etc. One
of the better lounges in the USA.

A shambolic excuse for a business class lounge. On the morning of our departure nearly every
available seat was occupied, there was little in way of food, only a few bowls of stale
peanuts, the staff (if there were any) were conspicuous by their absence, two of the plasma TV
screens were "down" and there was black plastic sheeting hanging from the ceiling on about 40%
of the available area due no doubt to some much needed refurbishment. With so many Air NZ
flights departing in the early part of the morning, it is obvious that this lounge is
incapable of seating all business class ticket holders and Koru Club members. As Auckland is
Air New Zealand's hub, the airline should feel ashamed at what it offers its premium class
travellers. Overall it was not a pleasant experience and we would have been better off out in
the public concourse.

The Air New Zealand lounge at Melbourne is one of their best. Built several years ago, it is
in the form of a NZ holiday house. Inside the lounge, the lighting is kept deliberately low,
while windows look out onto the tarmac. Hot and cold food, beer, wines etc, reading material,
TV screens and a number of work stations with internet. A most pleasant lounge and something
that Air New Zealand should emulate at its hub in Auckland.
