The lounge is right off concourse in the main terminal. The place is sprawling and offers
computer stations with electric power, but there are no electrical outlets anywhere else. If
you want to charge your computer or other electronic devices you are forced to sit in a
computer work station to do so. There is a self service bar and very limited snacks. The
agents still think they work for Northwest. My flight was delayed by two hours out of MSP to
ATL which caused me to miss my connecting flight to SRQ from ATL. I approached the agents
for help and they told me they didn't know if Delta would hold the flight for me or not. The
agent told me to call Delta and explain the situation or wait til I got to ATL! The 800
number was busy so I got nowhere. The agents were of no help in the Sky Club. They had
Delta uniforms on, but had no clue what Delta policy was and were of no help at all.

No food until 3pm, then small buffet which was OK. I tried to bring in food to the lounge
earlier, but was told no food was allowed in the lounge, and our family had to leave the
lounge separately to eat. You eat in this lounge at their convenience, not yours.
What a contrast compared to Singapore, Korean, or New Zealand!

The Delta Crown Room Club at the Tampa International Airport is one of the reasons I fly
Delta. The Club has two comfortable seating areas and a reasonably well-stocked bar. Most
importantly, it is staffed by some of the most polite people on the Delta staff. This Crown
Room is always busy, but never crowded. It is a far cry from the mob scene that some of the
other Delta Crown Rooms can be (Washington-Reagan National, for instance). It includes two
areas - one more of a bar/lounge and another area with clean restrooms, individual work
stations where you can set up your laptop in relative privacy, and a small lounge area with a
television always tuned to CNN.

Steamy and crowded, there were not enough seats and because it was so crowded, it was just as loud
as being in the terminal. The worst thing about it is that there no free Wi-Fi like the Northwest
World Clubs have. I am surprised by this because I was really impressed with the service and
amenities on the Delta flights I was on. The Crown Room Club, however, was more like I would expect
in a 3rd world country.

In comparison to the hideous, loud food court nearby in the E section of the Atlanta airport,
Delta's Crown Room Club lounge is heaven. It is quiet, pretty clean, and the chairs are
comfortable. Bar isn't extensive but it does the trick. Snacks are average. The lounge isn't chic,
like say the JAL lounge at Narita, but I was grateful to escape the bright lights and loud throng
at the food court and nestle in this lounge for a few hours.

This lounge is a gem at O'Hare. Quiet, comfortable and near the gates. Staff very friendly.
Usual snacks and free drinks- self serve in the early am. Limited variety of newspapers and
magazines. Very clean and well maintained.
