"proactive, efficient, and extremely friendly"

(United States)

Trip Verified | Newly opened this week This is a wonderfully typical Centurion Lounge with one great exception. The staff is proactive, efficient, and extremely friendly. The food, as always is plentiful and quite good. I was there for breakfast so I wasn’t able to try out the impressive looking Whiskey Bar. There is also a terrific covered outdoor area with ramp views. All in all, a winner

"many kinds of liquor were served"

(Japan)

Trip Verified |  As a Business Class passenger on an Air France Flight from HND to CDG, I had two options on which lounge to visit before boarding: JAL’s Sakura Lounge or Delta’s Sky Club. I visited the Delta lounge for the first time. Less company and more individual cares than the JAL’s counterpart. At the bar counter many kinds of liquor were served though I missed champagne. While I was taking a meal over a glass of red wine, one of the staff was pushing a cart loaded with fried chicken or something, which seemed to me their specialty, and approaching my table. She offered me one and naturally I took it. I found it delicious.

"charged $50 for my 8-year-old daughter"

(United States)

Trip Verified | I returned from a trip to Mexico yesterday with my wife and 8-year-old child. On my way down the previous Saturday, we had a layover in SLC from GEG and took them to the Delta Lounge. I have a Reserve card and was going to use one of my passes for my wife and my daughter I assumed would just come along. After showing my boarding pass the attendant then typed some things to allow my wife in with one of my passes and we enjoyed some time in the lounge before flying out. On the way back yesterday we again stopped in at the lounge between flights. I scanned my boarding pass and the attendant then came over and I said I had another pass for my wife. They said all passes had been used a few days earlier. I said that must be a mistake because I had two and only used one for my wife. They told me both had been used, for my wife and child. The attendant then told me the charge for both of them to enter the lounge would then be $100. I understood the $50 for my wife but I was very taken aback that I was being charged $50 for my 8-year-old daughter who was only going to have a cookie or two! $50 for an adult I completely understand with liquor and food, but a child cannot possibly warrant a $50 charge. I paid the fee because we were already there and my daughter was looking forward to going back and having a cookie, but I felt, and have continued to feel, taken advantage of and this experience has left a very uncomfortable feeling with me. To add more insult once inside they closed down half the lounge's food serving area during dinner time and the lines backed up and the food coming out slowed down. I have always enjoyed the lounge when traveling by myself or with my wife but going forward cannot warrant the cost of bringing a small child so will not be going at all. I don't know if I will continue my business with Delta because of this. It was a very unfortunate ending to a great vacation. I called Medallion customer care to inquire about this and was very bluntly told that this is just the way it is. I think it may be time to give another airline a try.

"lounges that are overrun"

(United States)

Not Verified | Another overrun day in a Delta Sky Lounge in Atlanta. I travel through Atlanta at least 2x per week. The lounges in all concourses are over run and generally staffed with employees with abysmal attitudes. Terminal E on Sunday evening 9/10/2023 - very crowded, dirty (cleaned a side table myself from leftover food and drink), People using cell phones and devices without headphones. If Delta think's they are treating their best customers well, they are sadly mistaken. If there were any viable choice in the South East of the US, I would gladly abandon Delta as a "Diamond Medallion" all I get from Delta is constantly late flights, lounges that are overrun, and staffed by employees with bad attitudes.

"finest lounge I've ever visited in America"

(United States)

Trip Verified | The finest lounge I've ever visited in America. It is brand-new, with enormous windows, a large capacity, and an open, airy interior. With over 50 culinary options and excellent service, this restaurant takes the cake. Other airport lounges ought to emulate this one.

"lounge is amazing horrible"

(South Africa)

Not Verified | This lounge is amazing horrible. My visit started well with a great shower. The shower rooms are huge and well equipped. The service there is nice and welcoming. But when I wanted to get something for breakfast I was shocked. First of all it is plastic cutlery and paper plates. This place produces so much rubbish that is incredible. The selection of food was really small. But what was going well was the bar with the alcohol. The layout of the seating looked not welcoming. Chaotic the chairs were standing around all over. Some close to the sockets some far away. The terrace is a great idea, unfortunately it was closed that morning because of rain in the early morning hours. It is not worth visiting this lounge again. If you arrive from South Africa were they offer so many different meals and porcelain and with real cutlery you thing you just arrived in the third world.

"such a dismal array of food "

(Australia)

Trip Verified | The staff and seating are both fine. Staff very friendly and they clear glasses / plates away fast. But there is a lack of toilets and such a small choice of food options. Even the domestic lounge for Virgin Australia has more options than this! It’s such a dismal array of food - everyone is munching on corn chips and olives. The bar is above average (phew!).
