Cathay Pacific really underestimated the frequency of the shower room. It's always more than an
hour waiting while I only have 2 hours transit time.

Clean, slick and well-maintained. Had a hot shower in my own private section, rainforest shower
head and nicely designed sloping slate floor.
Plenty of food and drink options. The view is not so great - you're at ground level, so don't have
a sweeping view of the tarmac.
I ventured to the other lounge (The Wing) on my return flight - great views and quiet, despite
being open to the overall airport waiting area.

Cathay Pacific lounges at Heathrow are good. However, I find the First Class lounge a little gloomy
and lonely but, neverless, a good respite from the noise and commotion down in Terminal 3. I find
myself moving over to the business lounge quite often for an overall improved ambience. Food and
beverages are excellent, there is a useful internet facility, good restrooms and the Cathay staff
are always helpful.

CX shares the (small and narrow) JAL Sakura lounge near Gate 18 (another one near Gate 19). On this
Sam am, place was packed, no English reading material other than one well-thumbed Japan Times, used
crockery all over the place.
No food, just drinks. Draft beer self-service. Interesting touch:
powder room was just that - chair, table, large mirror and a sink. Toilet was separate. CX will have
to press JAL to lift its game. |

The lounge is the best I have seen, clean, modern with free WI-FI.
After a 14 hours flight from LAX, what a refreshing shower. The food was fine, plenty of beverages
and nice staff. Try the noodle bar is a fantastic addition. Next time I will not eat during my
flight to enjoy the noodle soup.

A small yet basically functional lounge. Catering in the morning is quite satisfactory, with a good
selection of cereals and fruits. Some hot offerings would be nice. A wide variety of self-servive
beverages are is also available. Whilst there is no wi-fi hotspot in this lounge, there are several
PC's with complimentary internet access and office facilities. There are also two very nice
electronic massage chairs which are discretely located behind privacy screens. There is ample
lounge seating, and a wide selection of newspapers and periodicals. Washroom facilities are
spotlessly clean and tidy, even if they do lack the space of lounges such as Hong Kong and
Singapore. Staff were polite and unobtrusive - I hardly knew they were there, although they were
very helpful when called upon. Overall, whilst this lounge is not up to the "premium" standard of
some first class lounges around the world, it is nonetheless very good. I have not seen it during
peak hours, but suspect it may suffer from a lack of space during such times. |

Quite a small lounge for both, business and first class passengers together. Catering and beverages
limited, no champagne, quite crowded before flights. Just 2 internet terminals, always occupied.
Restrooms clean and spacious.
