Very opulent affair and huge. Champagne bar lined with gold banquettes very swish, but on a more
practical note, showers very small and basic - water runs over the floor (sign on the wall says it
is designed that way) so nothing can be put on the floor and really nowhere provided to put bags
(this is an airport after all) even the shelf above the sink isnt wide enough for a decent
washbag.Clearly not the work of a traveller - by the time I finished, I had my briefcase in the sink
and the towels wedged behind the toilet.

We had 6 hours to spend changing BA flights en route Buenos Aires to UK. The Sao Paulo BA Executive
lounge is a disgrace : dowdy, shabby, worn and dirty chairs, and carpet, minimal magazines and
newspapers (nothing more recent than 2 days' old), all topped off with the TV tuned to a snowstorm
and no internet connection. The staff said that they "could do nothing" with a shrug of the
shoulders. On our visit there was a grubby handwritten notice saying that there was no hot water- thus no
coffee or tea. As we were the only occupants for some time, we eventually persuaded the staff to get
some hot water from the nearby TAM lounge, but they did this with bad grace, and made it clear that
for one time only. There was no interest at all in, perhaps, getting some makeshift remedy before
the lounge filled (actually, overfilled - it is far too small for a 747 load) nearer departure
time: complete inertia. As an introduction to the airline for BA premium passengers originating at Sao Paulo this lounge is
an insult to them, to the BA brand and to the excellent aircrew who try so hard to counter dreadful
ground facilities such as this.

Here, you have two, maybe three, flights leaving for London within a short space of time. If
passengers for the later flights check-in early there is serious congestion.
More seriously, the lounge is looking worn out. Many of the chairs and sofas have stained cushions
with very worn covers - the foam stuffing of one chair I sat in was poking through the arm cover.
It needs a makeover.

British Airways used to have their own separate Terraces lounge in Oslo. Now they
have moved the lounge and share this with Continental, Brussels, KLM, Air France and many others.
This means the lounge is very busy with hardly any free seats. In addition, the lounge is located
in the International departure area, which means you cannot go back outside should you wish to have
a smoke. On the upside, catering is okay. They have snacks, pasta salad, potato salad, biscuits
and all manner of treats and for beverages they have draught beers as well as tea, coffee (which was
actually pretty good) and juices. I found the toilets were rather small, considering how busy the
lounge was and there was sometimes a wait. Finally, I noticed that dirty plates and cups weren't
being collected. There were plenty of staff, but they appeared to be hiding in a room near the
beverages and only appeared to look at the level of the snacks. The view from the lounge was okay,
half looking over the runway and the seats were certainly comfortable, but the lounge certainly
isn't up to BA Terraces standards.

A clean, quiet and well appointed lounge. It's pleasantly laid out with a varied selection of food
and drinks. Televisions, newspapers and periodicals are available. The staff are friendly, efficient
and professional without being at all obsequious. I didn't try the internet connectivity but there
were other passengers who seemed connected and working efficiently.

Pleasantly surprised by the decor and space (though it soon filled up). There were 2 bars, both of which were adequately
stocked. One bar offered draught beer plus canned beer. The wine selection was not the best, but the
wine on offer was very good.
Snacks consisted of a lot of pastries savoury and sweet, olives, crisps etc. Plus there were some mini
Russian chocolate bars. Overall it was a good lounge, spacious and nicely laid out.

Given the time of year and date of travel, somehow the BA Heathrow Terminal 4 Terraces lounge was
relatively empty compared to its usual mad rush of passengers flowing in and out. Hot and cold
buffet food offerings have been upgraded offering more substantial meal selections including fresh
salads, grain breads and an array of int'l cuisine for the exhausted traveler. A more calm
atmosphere versus the cattle-calls of other lounges, it remains a bit "stale" as the air quality
seems a bit compromised; aromas of food shouldn't be sensed while you're in their quiet quarters.
Otherwise, staff are civil enough while their clean-up crews offer friendlier smiles and excellent
service, in utility rooms especially. The level of cleanliness and overall number of seats has
improved as have the layout and comfort of seating.

This lounge is just across the corridor from the air train station that takes you to the gate, so it
is conveniently located. When I entered the lounge there was no member of staff available to check
me in and I had to wait quite a while before anyone came. This lounge wasn't too busy and finding a
quiet corner wasn't hard. If you want a very quiet corner, what used to be the smoking room is the
best place to be. Once I found a seat I searched for food and drink. When I arrived at the bar,
one of the staff members took the coffee jug away so I had to work out how to use the machine, which
was meant to fill the jug that had just been taken! I later found another coffee machine just for
cups over the other side of the lounge. Whilst there were plenty of sandwiches, there were no
plates. The food selection was okay, nothing special, just nothing to eat it on. Seating was
confortable here and there was plenty of light. There were also plenty of announcements about
flight departures. The toilets facilities were clean. So my only real complaint was the service
from the staff or lack thereof. It wasn't like the lounge was busy, it just felt like the staff
couldn't be bothered.

The lounge is situated on the floor above the main concourse close to gate 25 that BA use. The First
lounge is off to the right at reception and Club World/Executive Club off to the left. We were
flying Club World for this trip home so we headed left for some complimentaries. The lounge itself
splits in to two as you enter. Both parts have the customary fridges and snacks but the left hand
side doesn't have a view as there are no windows. To see the sun setting on Camelback, you have to
turn right. The lounge itself isn't huge but adequate and it has the usual TV, comfy chairs, a few
tables and a couple of computer ports. The staff were friendly and constantly restocking the fridges
and wine supplies which because of the hour delay they did quite a number of times. We watched BA289
touch down and shortly after that, that day's British newspapers were brought up to us. Following
the stampede and another hour, we were called to our flight and as a result of a very powerful jet
stream tail wind we made up that hour and actually landed in London on time. All in all a very
pleasant experience.

BA lounge in Dubai is nicely sited, somewhere near gate 26 so quite central. It is surprisingly
spacious given limited use BA makes of Dubai. For night departure to LHR it was half empty despite
Cathay passengers sharing the facility. External views of gates. Nicely decorated with parasols,
selection of sofas and soft chairs. Excellent snacks hot and cold (they will heat up on demand) and
well stocked bar. No showers. But better than expected and a real haven inside DXB. There is no
priority boarding when you get to the gate.
