Can be somewhat crowded at times as one or two other airlines share this facility. Nice
separate restaurant for BA Club World Sleeper Service pre-flight dining. No shower facilities
and a rather small restroom only. Overall, it is stands out as a good lounge given what's
currently available at IAD. Plans are underway to completely refurbish and convert from a Terrace

I have used this lounge several times now and while it is comfortable and offers all one could
need, it is not as special as it could be. There is not much staff enthusiasm and it lacks the
crispness of the Sydney Qantas lounge. There were crumbs on my dining table when I arrived and
the breakfast was at best, adequate. All in all not particularly memorable from a people, food
and service point of view.

Used both the Galleries club lounge in Terminal 5 South and the Galleries club at the
satellite building in T5B. At the galleries south, I went to the ElEmis Travel spa for a
treatment and was told the next treatment would be too close to my flight, so opted for 15
minutes on the intelligent massage chair and it was truly worth it. The food in the lounge
included cold salads, baguettes (ham or mushroom), fruits and cereals as well as a large
choice of drinks. Plenty of seating was available and the cinema was empty so managed to take
control of the remote and watch some tennis. Arrived at the T5B lounge which was much quieter
and had the same facilities as that in T5 south lounge although it was smaller. At midday,
sandwiches were put out as well as a some hot meals including soup, pasta and a curry. This
lounge also had free internet, as well as shower facilities and the Elamis travel spa.
Excellent lounges that i would recommend anyone flying out to experience.

Unexpected treat there being a First lounge at Bermuda (Club/Exec lounge was extremely busy).
While only 17 seats and there being 14 pax on the flight, the lounge did nonetheless feel calm
and exclusive. Good selection of drinks and snacks and a nice place to spend an hour or so
before a flight.

This lounge is a shared lounge used by several airlines and American Express card holders, so
I was expecting it to be full, however I was pleasantly surprised, more so as it was smaller
than the old BA lounge in Heathrow T4 so there were plenty of seats available. The lounge was
clean and attendants constantly went round clearing cups, plates etc. In one corner was the
smoking room, which was actually pleasant to be in with fans with HEPA filters constantly
running clearing the air, in fact it felt almost wrong to smoke in this room. Light snacks,
sandwiches etc were available as were drinks with wines, beer, coffee, tea, juices and soft
drinks available. The only complaints were if a lot of people are trying to get refreshments,
the kitchen area can get crowded and hard to exit and there weren't any exterior windows from
which to see the runways etc. Aside from those minor issues, a very pleasant relaxing lounge
and one I look forward to using again.

Great looking - minimalist and clean. Very calm and very relaxing.
Great service but disappointing food. Only western style food whereas in Asia you
would imagine that the strength would lie in serving national dishes.

Basic! MIA needs to pick up its game. The only redeeming feature of this lounge
was the BA hostess at reception who was very warm and professional. She came
round the lounge at regular intervals to check on 'her' BA guests and ask if she
could do anything for us. Lets hope that in the new refurbished terminal?? BA
will have its own lounge up to the standards we have been shown in LHR T5 and
LAX. |

First time using the arrival lounge. Very impressed. Nice calm environment. Good
selection of food and drinks. Very nice Elemis Spa - had a very refreshing
facial. Staff very good at clearing tables away when passengers have left. Used
a lovely spacious shower, attendant offered to press my shirt etc while
showering. All in all a very nice way to finish a transatlantic flight.

Despite all but pulling out of Manchester, BA are obviously still committed to their lounge
here. Light, well maintained, comfortable furnishings, welcoming staff and a spectacular view
across the apron and runways to the sun rising over the Cheshire hills. Lots of fruit and
excellent croissants for breakfast but no hot food.
