I am thinking about flying TAM from London to Brazil in November, as they seem to have taken over from Varig.
See that TAM have quite good Skytrax ranking, but has anyone out there flown with TAM - intl or domestic?

I did CDG-GRU last year with their A330 in Y, and it has been one of the best long haul flight in Y
I have had: new planes, decent IFE, very generous on drinks and food, very efficient, kind and "good
looking" cabin crew. I would not hesitate at all to fly them again. Beats all European long haul
carriers. Enjoy!

Have to agree with Rolfie, I use to fly frequently to Rio with the old Varig from Paris/London/Rome
and then switched to TAM and continued with them for all the reasons already mentioned. TAM domestic
is about the same as Varig but the International services are way ahead of the competition
including European and American Carriers.

I travelled LHR-GRU-GIG-EZE-GRU-LHR with TAM in December. On board service was fine, but all the
flights were delayed, generally by at least 2 hours, and their handling of the delays was awful -
they never apologised or even acknowledged that a flight was late. I think there are problems with
all flights through Brazil at the moment due to problems with air traffic control, but TAM seemed to
be affected more than other carriers.
