I"m flying to Copenhagen from LAX, and have a choice of flying through Munich or Frankfurt
(Lufthansa on the transatlantic leg, then SAS to Denmark). I'm leaning towards Munich, but there's
only a 2 hour layover, and I'm not sure if that's enough time to clear passport control; going
through Frankfurt would give me 3 hours. Which is the better choice?

Munich is definitely the best choice. It's the most efficient European airport and 2 hours is way
enough. I did numerous transfer of less than an hour in MUC and never lost a piece of luggage or
missed a plane.

Use Munich anyway! Frankfurt airport is really not nice for changing flights.

Munich hands down, new terminal 2 for star alliance is very good. I've done a 2 hour connection in
Chicago O'Hare comfortably. Frankfurts a bit busier.

MUC definitely. I'm there every year and have not had any problems whatsoever. Was in Frankfurt this
past year and did not like having to go through security again just to get to the gate from the
Crown Room Club.

Absolutely, Munich. Frankfurt is a nightmare. Had an escort through the terminal, flew LH, YVR-
FCO first class. Changed planes in Frankfurt and let me tell you if I hadn't had an electric
cart and escort I would still be there. It is only for the young and physically fit. Also,
security was extremely rude and nasty.
