Has anyone flown with Asiana Airlines or Korean Air Sydney-Seoul economy class - and what are your
views/experiences? Are there any other airlines you'd recommend?

Both airlines are certainly acceptable, but I give the edge to Asiana. You will find the Asiana product
more consistently good, with friendly FAs, modern AVOD, and frequent cabin service for food and
drink. Korean is also good, but for the same price, I think you will find Asiana better.

Agree Asiana is the better option. Service is second to none with FA's well trained and polite. Food
is great too.

I would say Asiana is the superior carrier in this duel. They have a mixed bag of aircraft in their
fleet, some renovated and some not, but the service is wonderful.

Only flown with Asiana couple of times and found services, foods, and seat pitch (34") are
excellent. Asiana put Qantas to a shame for overall
products and service. Make sure to join the Asiana ff program before you purchase a ticket because
if you fly about 4 times to Seoul you will become a gold member which will give you an extra access
and worth. There is no penalty if you need to change the dates for your traveling.

Flown a couple of times on Asiana and their service is wonderful. One of the best airlines in the
world. Choose Asiana, you wont regret it.

Definitely recommend Asiana - have flown them on this route a couple of times - new aircraft,
excellent seat pitch in economy class, good inflight meas and entertainment - and the service has
always been outstanding and faultless.

Flown a few times with Asiana, and can recommend them highly. The moment you step on board, you feel
to be at home. Great service and entertainment.
Another benift is they are a member of the star alliance.

Flown Asiana from Sydney to Seoul, Korean Air from Auckland to Seoul, both highly recommended. But
I prefer Asiana Airlines. Friendly staff, clean seats, great food etc. (maybe because of the
mileage, Star Alliance!)
