Flew Perth-Sydney-Perth Business Class. Been a loyal customer of Qantas for many years and they have just
lost me. The service was far superior, clean modern aircraft, staff were at all times pleasant. The food both
ways was fantastic.

MEL-PER 3/08/2012 impressed with cabin crew, the flight was faultless. A bonus factor was that the plane
was half full and mainly adults. A very quiet, smooth and peaceful journey impressed with the cleanliness of
the plane.

PER - SYD return. Experienced the new Business Class in A300 cabin. Have to say it is definitely a more
polished product than QF domestic business and is on par with QF International. Even a substantial delay on
the return leg was handled by Virgin with apologies that were sincere and well explained. IFE and Catering
was top notch.

BNE-LA June 4 - LA-BNE - July 18. Chose Virgin Australia on this route after sadly having a less than
satisfactory experience in Qantas economy a few years earlier. The seats on Virgin were comfortable and with
plenty of leg room. Meals (pre-ordered vegetarian when I booked online) were better than expected. The
majority of the cabin crew were friendly and attentive. The interior of the plane (Boeing 777) was still close
to new. Would fly this route with Virgin again.

SYD-AUH-SYD. First time flying international business class with Virgin Australia and I was very impressed.
From check in to on board service the entire experience was extremely satisfying. Choice of food and
beverage was excellent. Full flat lie down beds with cabin crew making the beds for all passengers. Soft
underlay to lie on and warm doona as a cover. I'm 180cm tall and bed length was more than adequate.
Limited cabin announcements too added too we very welcomed. The ladies only toilet was a hit for my wife
and other airlines should follow this example. Only one downside comment and this is the selection of
movies was limited when compared to other airlines. No European movies either. Highly recommend traveling
with VA.

MEL to OOL, flew in one of their latest 737-800 aircraft which had been configured with high density seating,
they must have squeezed just under 200 people on a 737 that normally carried 168, there was less leg room
than either Jetstar or Tiger. They no longer have Foxtel on board their new aircraft so it was a boring flight,
food was poor - Luke Mangan, tasteless and over priced! Virgin seems to think they are a premium product
and can charge more, but they are the same or worse than Tiger.

Sydney to London via Abu Dhabi. First time flying Premium Economy. Service was fantastic. The food was to
a good standard and the entertainment was easy to navigate. The complimentary noise cancelling headsets
are a great idea but do become very uncomfortable after a couple of hours. They were unable to offer more
than two options from their extensive wine list though. Facilities were kept clean and tidy throughout the
flight to Abu Dhabi and it was nice to be able to help myself to the well stocked self service bar. Switching to
Etihad for the second leg to London was more than a shock. Economy cabin seat was tiny and reminded me
of Easyjet. Service was appalling and staff threw a snack pack at us and then turned the lights off. Who
knows what the captain was saying over the PA system and the cabin crew spoke limited English. It was clear
that the cabin crew could not wait to get rid of us as soon as we landed at Heathrow. Virgin Australia need
to expand and complete the route to London.

From ground crew to cabin crew, everyone seemed to have a smile on their face. Cabin crew helped put my
baggage in the overhead locker, quick food service. Cheap and tasty. Loved my flight. Lack of entertainment
though.

SYD to MEL return. Lounge was not crowded, enjoyed space and good options for breakfast. Flight down was
a Saturday 8 am flight so not full. Seat between myself and another passenger was free so very comfortable.
Seat comfortable, only had a coffee. Flight back Sunday 3 pm and nearly full. Lounge was a bit busy but
plenty of seats and food good for a light lunch. Flight good, seat comfortable. Flying more with Virgin now
and happy to see approach of staff is very good in comparison with Qantas. Seats were more comfortable and
luggage arrived quickly.

Two flights with Virgin Australia on different days and both flights were late. The first flight, even the
terminal staff had a hard time figuring out where to send us as they did not even know which gate to send
us. Please note on this flight, this was even at the time when the airplane should have been boarding. The
second flight was late. The cabin crew on the second flight were rude. They seemed to enjoy being
condescending and had no customer service skills. Even the simple task of greeting passengers as they got
on the airplane seemed to too hard for them. If you want a good price, then Virgin Australia can supply that.
