SYD-MEL. Was warned there could be some delays due to changing of reservation system computers, however
arrived at airport in plenty of time. Completed check-in quickly and headed to Lounge but used the external
and exclusive entrance for Platinum flyers which has security solely dedicated to Virgin flyers. This is a great
bonus given the terminal used by Virgin is shared with Jetstar and Rex and other regional airlines, and it can
be tiresome waiting to go through the normal channels. Flight left on time and service excellent with
breakfast served and tea and coffee. landed in Melbourne right on time which is a rarity for all airlines.
Luggage on carousel minutes after landing.

Flew from KUL to Abu Dhabi last night and after reading quite a few negative comments I was trying to
remain optimistic. Very disappointed with experience. 777 is a good aircraft, brand new and clean. The flight
itself was quick and efficient but that's where it ended. Economy seats are very hard and uncomfortable. I'm
of average size but anymore than a few hours and your in pain. The food was poor and the service was
indifferent to the point of being rude. I was barked at for asking what choices there were? Virgin seem to
portray this casual air about the way they interact with passengers, but please don't call a 53 year old
business man "mate"! The cabin was freezing and had to go looking for a blanket. If this is the best Virgin
can do they seriously need to lift their game!

Flew BNE-SYD last year as a large group with 51 adults. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Seats were
comfortable. The check in was great and the disembarking process in Sydney easy. The landing and takeoff
was smooth. They don't have IFE for this sector. I'll definitely fly them again.

Melbourne to Gold Coast return on a Boeing 737-800. The planes are new and have a modern cabin which
features great lighting. On the flight over each seat had a seatback television with complimentary Foxtel
which was great. The cabin crew were friendly and both flights were efficient and punctual. Virgin Australia
has definitely become the airline of choice for domestic travel in Australia, outdoing competitor airlines.

DJ154, Nadi (Fiji) to Sydney last night. Tickets for family of four costing over $2000. Flight left 30 mins late
(late in from Sydney). We had dumped our water well in advance of scheduled departure time. My husband
hadn't eaten since breakfast and is diabetic - our flight left just before 4pm. We got 100ml each of water on
the 4.5 hour flight (only complimentary consumable on the flight, along with 1 cup of warm tea or coffee).
You have to pay for snacks or a device to entertain you - no complimentary earphones to listen to music.
Food choices inadequate for diabetic - sandwiches or pies. No pillow or blanket. Yes, we got from A to B -
staff were average. No joy otherwise.

SYD-LAX return. A wonderful experience, with a definite 'party' atmosphere on board. Very new 777-300 and
cheerful crews both ways. Meals were excellent with china and linen service and the Lanson Gold Label Brut
2002 Vintage Reims Champagne. Lie flat bed for me was very comfortable and the turn down service and PJs
very welcome. Constructive feedback - ground staff at check in Sydney forgot to give me an express pass for
customs, had to go back for one, and the in-flight new release movies were just a little limited. But all up I
would not hesitate to fly VA 001/002 Business Class again.

WLG-BNE-LAX return Premium Economy. Comfortable, wide seat on BNE-LAX leg with decent food, nice wine,
noise cancelling headphones and very friendly service both ways. Good standard Premium Economy service,
particularly for the price and easily better than the Jetstar Business Class offering. Snack bar offerings a bit
on the dry side. Tasman Premium Economy flights pretty basic (not worth the extra cost if only flying
between BNE and WLG, however service was very friendly and warm). WLG-BNE was coach with no lounge
access or priority boarding for some unknown reason while return BNE-WLG leg was Prem Economy with
lounge access and priority boarding provided. Priority boarding, check-in and security passes much
appreciated on Pacific legs and return Tasman leg. LAX terminal fairly cramped and very busy feeling. Easy
transit between flights and luggage ticketed through to destination.

Sydney to LAX return in Premium Economy. Both flights full. Ground staff in both locations helpful. Cabin
service is friendly when it is on show but can go missing on the long night flight back to Sydney. Crew need a
rest but both at the same time and for 9 hours. Inflight entertainment seems limited on movies but this
should not be difficult to improve. While a solid product you are left with feeling they are a second tier airline
compared to other major international players.

Flew Auckland (AKL) to Brisbane (BNE) on a Boeing 737-800. I noticed that the aircraft was still painted in
the Pacific Blue Livery, but the whole cabin had been refurbished and the new leather seats were very nice.
Flight delayed 25 minutes (scheduled 7am - Departed 7.25am) leaving AKL but arrived 55 minutes early
(scheduled 7.40am - Arrived 6.55am). Crew were attentive and helped everyone with a smile. Service was
great, as a frequent flyer of Virgin I would always recommend them, and to top if off I only paid $177 for the
flight over and $144 home.

SYD-LAX. Superb service from a smart crew - personable and professional. Food was first rate and
entertainment top notch. Only downside was stuffy cabin and the lie flat seat which in bed mode is good but
a tad lumpy for seniors such as myself. Row 5 is the one to get, very private and screened with curtains.

DJ646, Brisbane to Perth, 1-11-12, 737-800. Boarded on time at Brisbane, aircraft very clean, good seats,
staff very helpful. Seat back TV was free very good, Even was given a very acceptable roast chicken dinner
and wine, may be a tad early in the flight. Flight was 5 hours with a block of ten babies and toddlers a few
rows back that screamed non stop throughout the flight. Perth couldn't come soon enough!

DJ943, Sydney - Brisbane, 737-800. Interesting way of loading an aircraft, all the people sitting in the front
half off the cabin were boarded via the rear door and the rear half were loaded via the front door. Slightly late
departure due to this odd method of loading, other than that a good quick flight. No problems at Brisbane
bags were unloaded very quickly was out of the airport within 30 minutes of touchdown.

BNE to LAS via LAX, Nov 11, seated in 5C. Service was very good, all FA's friendly and helpful, food and drink
service very good. Not sure if it was the upgraded seat padding but still a bit firm, seat comfortable however
a little narrow for this class. Dinner first class, breakfast a bit ordinary IFI was as always good with plenty of
movie choices. Flight went quickly and arrived early in LA. Flight to LAS on a small commuter plane packed
like sardines, however left on time and arrived on time. Bags arrived all good.

Lounge great but needs to be significantly expanded in size. Melbourne to Perth on the A330, fantastic cabin
presentation, pre-set water bottle and noise cancelling headsets. Really good amenities pack with organic
products. French champagne pre-take off, good wine selection, two choices of starter and 3 mains, plated
meals, good IFE but handset difficult to use and no touch screen. Crew where fantastic. Its a great product,
hopefully Virgin will expand system wide with this business class standard.

Travelled Cairns-Sydney on 5th Nov. We were a group of 6. Almost unanimously we were surprised at the
reluctance of Virgin staff to give a simple smile while dealing with customers. Starting from the check-in desk
to entering the aircraft we met 4 different staff with same attitude. Inside the aircraft we came across a
single air-hostess who had a smile while dealing with customers. No complaint about seating, timeliness,
entertainment, cleanliness. Didn't try the onboard food and hence no comments.

make sure you keep inflight entertainment on all flights.

Bag drop for a domestic Australia trip (BNE-NTL) took over 20 minutes despite being already checked in - with
only 6 people in the queue in front of us. It was 45 minutes before the flight yet there were only 2
attendants at bag drop, one of whom clocked off as we got there, the other sat there as he requested a
couple try and rearrange their luggage to meet weight requirements. The queue was 5 rows deep by the time
we dropped our bags off. Flight was fine - almost on time, cramped seats, no food or entertainment - what
you'd expect for a domestic 'budget' airline.

NTL-BNE return. Old Fokker 100 very noisy and dirty inside. The seat in front of me was broken and kept
reclining the whole flight. No inflight entertainment or meals provided. Flight was 50 mins late so missed my
connecting flight. Took over an hour for Virgin staff at Brisbane to let me know if there were any alternate
flights to catch.

We travelled in economy - no leg room and the fact you have to pay onboard for your food and entertainment
was just a time waster. The plane was extremely hot and stuffy and needed a good clean. The toilet
amenities were a disgrace, very small with no toilet paper, tissues or soap after only 2 hours into the flight.
The menu is horrible and does not cater for a fresh snack. I guess you only get what you pay for "Budget and
no frills".

BNE-LAX return in business class. Pyjamas are supplied and a protective mattress is placed on your seat to
sleep. The beds recline 180 degrees and there is a separate bar where you can and chat to other passengers.
The food was of high quality and staff attentive. Ground staff very helpful particularly as I had to change
flight at short notice and the lounges in Australia were excellent. The only slight complaint is that the video
selection was a little limited but this is a very minor complaint.

Sydney-Brisbane return. Friendly check-in staff and cabin crew. Virgin has lifted it's game. The mood light is
such a Virgin touch. The only negative thing is there is no entertainment system on the 737-800's.

MEL-PER-MEL using points to upgrade. Lounge experience good in both airports and this is something Virgin
are doing well. Near brand new Airbus A330 both ways with excellent business class seats and attentive
service from friendly flight attendants. Food and alcohol also very good. Relative downsides are limited range
of movies and return flight a little late due to slow processes getting to take off point at Perth. Overall an
experience consistent with the competition on international flights.

AUH-SYD. Relaxed personable but professional crew. Clean bright cabin made better by the overall attitude of
the crew. Plentiful supply of all food liquid refreshments of good quality and well presented. I have travelled
the UK to Sydney route for over 30 years with a variety of airlines and this one performs above its current
perception. First trip with VA but wont be my last.

Departed on 11 October. Flight delayed from 6.45am to 13.40pm without any prior announcement. Air NZ
counter was inundated with unhappy passengers. No Virgin Australia staff was there to assist and the 0800
number for Virgin Australia was not in service. After numerous calls from my mobile Virgin Australia would
not assist us as our baggage had already gone through customs and the more they were telling me I had to
get my luggage back the more Air NZ was telling me that they would sort it out. After a long and stressful
morning eventually we were transferred to an earlier flight. Well the stress did not end there once arrived in
Brisbane our luggage was lost.

Two of us flew Premium economy on VA 11 on 25th Sep return on VA12 on 16th Oct. MEL-LAX-MEL. Crew
were helpful and attentive particularly on the flight to LAX. Seats 12A and 12C both ways. Brilliant legroom.
Food better going out than the return. Didn't get any sleep over to LAX as two families and their children
kept us awake the whole trip! Entertainment choice is excellent. The main reason I haven't rated the
experience higher is because the seats are horrible, hard and with no lumbar support.

Launceston - Melbourne, Melbourne - Gold Coast, return. Out of all the flights there was no inflight
entertainment. On the short flights this is ok but on a longer flight it gets a bit boring and I don't think this
is good enough. Staff were friendly and efficient, seats comfortable, might need to try out the competition
next time though.
