First class San Francisco to Las Vegas return. And just 100 USD extra! Very modern and fast
check-in. Priority boarding, take off on time, snacks and drinks, massage chair and very
friendly and efficient staff. Personal feel and great value for money.

JFK-SFO. Not one person at JFK knew how to handle a cancelled flight! Spent 6 hours trying to
rebook! No one could do anything without approval of the supervisor who kept disappearing
despite the fact that approximately 100 people were standing on line after 3 hours. In the end
I was booked on a different flight than my boyfriend and had to cancel the trip after being
told they couldn't do anything about the different flights!

SAN-SFO. Great check in and upgraded for small cost. Almost the same price to pay for my 2
bags in economy. Seat excellent, staff excellent, service excellent and entertainment
excellent. Selection of snacks not excellent. Captain made an introduction speech from the
cabin which I felt was also an excellent touch. Definitely a notch above Jet Blue and
Southwest

SEA-LAX and back. Flying with two toddlers was a pleasure on the way down to LA. Flight crew
were friendly and helpful. Return flight was another matter. Woman at check-in not very
friendly, and seemed to be upset when I inquired about early boarding for children. Flight
attendants on the plane not smiling the entire trip or helpful.

JFK-LAS. The staff were okay, not Southwest style of cheerful. I didn't know that I had to pay
for food - so $3.50 later, for a half can of Pringles, I enjoyed the seatback entertainment.
I would fly with Virgin again.

IAD-LAX-IAD First Class. Service the first leg of the trip was excellent, best service ever,
and dinner was amazing. Downside: massage/lumbar on my chair was broken, buttons did nothing.
My red entertainment system crashed twice (reboot takes about 5 minutes each time). Fast
Forward and Rewind did not work on my wife's Red. The snack selection is pretty bad, standard
airline fare - pretzels, nuts, etc. The good snacks (cookies and other baked goods) are not
available in First. Service the second leg of the trip was terrible - worst service in over a
hundred First Class flights with various airlines: they forgot to serve us our meal,
breakfast, and the attendant never offered us anything, unless we paged her. And we were the
only 2 people in first class. We had better service at the Burger King drive-through we
stopped at on the way home (because Virgin forgot our breakfast). The attendant never smiled,
never offered anything unless we tracked her down, and when we did get her attention we waited
over 5 minutes for her to pour 2 sodas. And massage/lumbar didn't work on my wife's chair.
Virgin fails at First Class, it's completely unpredictable, unreliable, and inconsistent.

SeaTac-SFO-IAD, economy class; planes were nice, entertainment system was a good experience,
but still cramped for legroom for 6'4". Circled SFO for 30 minutes extra, with no explanation
offered; eventually landed with only a cryptic comment from the captain about "sorry for the
long walk if you are connecting to (something garbled)." Turns out we landed at the outermost
end of International terminal and had 20 minute hike to other terminal to make what had been a
comfortable 1hr connection now reduced to 30 min (connecting flight was already boarding) and
had to re-negotiate security (which was one of the worst-staffed I have experienced in a year
or more). There was no Virgin agent at the arriving gate to explain where connecting flights
were, signage in the terminal was terrible. The lack of information provided by Virgin was
inexcusable and undid any positive feelings I had developed about their marginally better than
average aircraft.

JFK-LAX, SFO-JFK. The mood lighting of the aircraft was fantastic and entertainment was superb
considering it is a domestic flight. FAs professional, food prices steep, ordered the cheese
plate which was nothing special. The seats were comfy and legroom was generous. IFE kept me
entertained, cabin ambiance fantastic but needs a little bit cleaning of the windows and
seats. San Francisco to New York friendlier FAs and head FA gave me free sleeping kit.
Overall great experience, would love to fly with them again.

SFO-JFK Y class. I've flown JetBlue, Delta, Alaska, and Continental (but not United P.S.
service) on several transcontinental routes (NYC to San Fran and Seattle) and believe Virgin
America offers a competitive product on this route. Virgin resides in the International
Terminal - easily one of the better terminals at SFO - and uses T4 (also an international
terminal) at JFK. Boarding on time. The plane was clean, modern and came loaded with some
cool gadgets and high-tech amenities. The mood lighting - a soft-lit purple and pink - had a
calming affect. Attendants were clad in a snazzy all-black attire, and the seats were leather
(white in First and black in Y class). I tried out the inflight wifi, which cost $4 for
overnight flights, and it worked quite well. IFE consisted of an extensive list of MP3s, free
tv programming, and movies at $8.00 a pop. One of the attendants made announcements over the
intercom with a heavy British accent. Virgin America's seat-pitch is less generous than
JetBlue, but comparable to others and still tolerable for a 5hr flight. I didn't try their
food offerings but they seemed decent. All in all a good experience. I'm happy to pay a bit
more to fly Virgin America or JetBlue over some of the legacy carriers.

SFO to IAD - parents and two kids. Great seats, inflight entertainment system (although chat
not working on the way back). Flight attendants somewhat rough.

IAD-LAX-IAD. Airplane was spotless, comfortable leather seats and personal IFE nice. $8 for
a movie was steep, so decided to watch free programming. Overpriced buy-on-board, but chatted
with FA's and got 3 free alcoholic drinks! Great airline, and the only way to travel cross
country.

IAD - SFO economy. Very pleasant flight crew and gate crew. Nice economy cabin. When they
couldn't get the in-flight system to work, the captain said drinks are free! Later, even food
was free, though they got the in-flight system working about 2 hours after takeoff. I found
the ticket agents at SFO extremely helpful, though I don't like paying to check a bag.

First class New York to SFO. The seats were great, lots of legroom and plenty of width. A nice
meal with silverware. IFE nice, (everything onboard is included in first class). It froze
some but they easily reset it. The mood lighting was great, staff were nice. They have some
great deals with around $149 SFO-JFK and $49 SFO-LAX but some flights are really expensive.

BOS-LAX-BOS a few weeks ago. Terrific experience all around (other than now having to pay $15
to check a bag). Knowledgeable and friendly in-flight and ground crew. Comfortable seats
with more entertainment choices that you will use in one flight. Good price. Would
definitely fly them again.

LA-SFO F Class. Although we were delayed 1.5hours (fog in SF) the flight was at a
higher level than most domestic US flights I have taken in years. The lighting and seating in
itself mad for a different and pleasant experience. The flight attendant was pleasant and
helpful serving a very light but unusual (tapas style) snack; Add in the wireless internet
and it was an above average experience.

SFO-LAS and very impressed. Great crew, funky interiors and entertainment system. Being able
to order things to eat or drink through your own screen is a great concept and works well.
At check in we were also offered to upgrade to First for $50 but didnt for such a short flight
(which was half full in y class anyway). The fare was very reasonable.

Los Angeles to Seattle and back to San Francisco. Looked forward to the flights as different
from traditional carriers. Boarding the flight, the first thing you notice is bright red and
purple lights for their mood lighting. Excellent flight attendants who worked hard at serving
people drinks and snacks as non alcoholic drink were complimentary, people ordered quite a few
from the touch screen tv. Entertainment is excellent as lots of music and tv shows. Seating
was fine. Wanted to try and upgrade to first class on day but full. Seats looked nice in first
class. This carrier beats traditional carriers by miles.

First experience with Virgin America, and impressed. Flight from San Diego to San Francisco.
From check in to landing, all great. I like the red carpet at check-in with flowers on the
desk; nice seats, cool purple disco lighting in the aircraft, entertaining safety demo, really
friendly staff.

VA on SFO-LAX route, nice plane A320, cool entertainment system although no free headphones
instead you can buy One before boarding for $2, friendly crews, a better alternative to
Southwest, would definitely fly them again.
