Flew to Kalamata return, no problems, food was ok too. The entertainment is via a paid psp console - at 7.50 you can choose from around 6-8 films and 6 games. The plane was clean, cabin crew friendly, seats no different then other charters. Its a cheap airline and you can't expect 5 star.

Travelling from Glasgow to Cyprus with Viking Airlines. A 23 hour delay due to a 'technical' difficulty. Asked to go home and return the next day! Given a 6 pound food voucher to feed myself at airport. When flight did eventually leave the cabin crew served up 1 drink and 2 small tea/ coffees with a snack then were not to be seen for the rest of the journey! Seating could not have been tighter which was annoying for passengers who had paid extra money for seats with extra leg room that did not exist! On the whole a shambles.

Outbound from Manchester to Corfu, 11 hour delay with a stopover at East Midlands. Little communication by staff, lack of compensation considering missed 3 meal times. Another flight with them 40 minutes later, but they wouldn't put us on that unless we paid 130 each. Cabin crew rude and preferred to joke with each other than give information.

Our complaints with Viking Airlines are the same as M Stone on 14th July. We were a party of 3 and had the same problems, I don't think they were handled very well and we were not amused at being held at Skiathos airport for 10hours being fobbed off all the time. I would certainly avoid booking a flight with Viking Airlines again.

Was scheduled to fly back from Tenerife to Bristol 20 Aug. Viking moved the fight destination at the last minute from Bristol to Gatwick, stating ATC problems at Bristol (no evidence), Kiss Flights (CAA assured that those already abroad would not be affected) and also operational reasons (closer to the truth, they have cut back services due to Kiss). Net result, a 19 hour home trip, 10 hours in Tenerife airport, 4 hours on the flight, an hour and a half at Gatwick then 3 hours on a coach to Bristol, then taxi home. What did Viking do, a 6 Euro meal voucher that wasn't enough to buy a sandwich! Irony is, now home have discovered they cancelled the flight well in advance and could have let everyone know but didn't. Never to be trusted or used again.

I was supposed to fly to Kavos on the 23 August but my flight was cancelled, I think mainly due to the collapse of Kiss (who we didn't book through). I rang the company on the 19th August to find out where my tickets were as they hadn't arrived and they said "oh sorry your holiday has been cancelled, you will receive a letter in the next few days". This is shocking customer service. When I enquired about getting a refund they said it would take 8-12 months and that I would be charged 40 per passenger. Apparently this charge was to pass on some of the costs.

Flew to Corfu from Gatwick after 2 hour delay and another 1 hour on the runway, cabin crew were rude and more interested in talking to each other than serving drinks. By the time we got ours, we were preparing to land.

Gatwick to Rhodes return. Would never use again. On the way out massive queues to check in and only one staff member on their desk. We had allowed ourselves several hours at the airport so that we could have dinner but queued for so long that we had to go straight to the gate and get on the plane immediately. Then sat there for nearly an hour to wait for all the people who had been behind us in the check-in queue. On the way back flight was delayed by 4 hours. No announcements, no apology. When we eventually got on the plane the pilot said the delay was caused by "a problem with the plane yesterday morning"? Cabin crew were not overly friendly - on the return flight they shut themselves off behind a curtain at the front and glared at me on the 2 occasions I disturbed them - once to ask for some water and once to use the toilet, which was in their little curtained off area! I've flown with all kinds of budget airlines and this was the worst. They've clearly never heard of customer service.

Manchester to Corfu. Not bad 20 minute delay and crew professional with Safety demo in French and English. Corfu to Manchester delayed with no explanation at Corfu for 90 minutes. Safety demo performed as a bit of a joke in English only and staff seemed very inexperienced. Leg room a challenge for us both ways. We were lucky as our tickets were issued by Kiss and 17 hrs after we landed they had ceased trading!

Planes to/from Gatwick/Corfu pretty much on time, staff friendly, breakfast a bit grim but lunch more than edible. of I felt safe flying with them and despite being a reluctant flyer these days I quite enjoyed it.

Norwich to Madeira return - out on time, and delayed 30 minutes on return. Comfortable flight on modern 737. Friendly cabin crew who served good quality aircraft meals. Positive experience.

Gatwick to Rhodes return. Flights on-time, modern and clean B737-800 each way. Crew friendly though leg room for 6" plus is a challenge as with all budget airlines. The experience was positive and I would use again.

East Midlands to Corfu on 2nd August delayed for 9 hours. Called to gate twice to be told we would be delayed. Eventually boarded, just in time to not get refreshments. Then had to wait 1 hour on plane, diverted to Gatwick to change crew. On arrival at Gatwick told we also had to change plane, 2hrs 45 mins later boarded new plane then waited for bags to be transferred. Finally got fed at 01:30 am, 10 hours after due departure time. Cabin crew were friendly but they've seen it all so many times before.

Manchester to Fuerteventura retuen B737-800. The cabin crew were very pleasant and helpful, Captain was informative. The return flight was almost a carbon copy of the outbound flight. Same aircraft, tremendous service.

East Midlands to Kos return. Flight out was delayed by just over 3 hours, flight back arrived ahead of schedule. On both flights the crew were friendly and helpful, aircraft was clean, and legroom was quite good for a charter airline.

Flew Viking to Rhodes from Manchester, no delays going out but return flight was a complete disaster. First informed the day before that our flight would be delayed by 6 hours, when we got to the airport we were told it would further delayed - this ended up being an additional 13 hours. The flight details disappeared off the airport departure screen part way into the delays, never to reappear - even Rhodes airport had given up on them! Fellow passengers found out return flight details by contacting friends back home who obtained the details via the Manchester airport website.
