Gatwick/ Corfu in September - plane was new and legroom good. The staff were courteous, no worse or better than other airlines. No baggage problems and I would have no concerns travelling this airline again.

Gatwick to Cephalonia (Kefalonia) used a leased Canadian Sunwing plane with Canadian Crew who to comply with Canadian Regulations had to do flight announcements and safety drill in French as well as English. The French was hurried and gabbled. This was for an all British and English speaking passengers.

Travelled to Hurghada. Clean and tidy planes, ease of booking extra legroom seats and flights on time both ways. A good experience for a charter airline.

My wife and I have just come back from a trip to Egypt and the return flights were with Viking. Both the flights were delayed - on the way out by and hour and more than that on the way back. The seating was cramped, plane was too cold on the way out, the food inventory was poor and generally it was all pretty unpleasant and very disappointing.

I gave a score of 2, purely because they got us to Naples and home again to Aberdeen. On our flight out following an unexplained delay, the crew announced it was necessary to land in Edinburgh to refuel owing to Aberdeen runway being too short for a full load of fuel - this creating an even longer delay. This was the first anyone had been told that this would be necessary - further announcement was made that there was insufficient food was on board for the passengers needs. On the return flight from Naples my wife and I were allocated seats 19E /19F but when we arrived at them people were sitting in them. I approached a member of cabin staff who said there had been seats allocated which didn't exist and instead of moving the offending couple he proceeded to seat my wife quite separate from myself.

Manchester-Rhodes return. Two hours late on outward journey. Aircraft tatty. Cabin crew very helpful, friendly and hard working. Return journey dead on time, Again, scruffy aircraft, but excellent cabin crew. More legroom than expected.

Manchester - Sharm El Sheikh Return. Cabin crew friendly and sandwiches fresh and tasty. We had ample legroom and my boyfriend is just over 6ft.

London Gatwick to Heraklion return. Standard low cost model (ie pay for food/drink) but that was expected. Flights were on time and cabin crew helpful. On way back flight was treated as a night flight which was more relaxing.

Gatwick-Lemnos via Samos. A good flight and legroom better than the Monarch. Crew pleasant & food average charter. Return virtually on time, bit of a miserable stewardess - apart from that food good, booze a bit pricey. All in all not bad for a charter flight especially after reading some of the earlier bad reports!

Flew to Sharm El Sheikh return. Felt the crew were miserable, took two hours to get a drink and because we were near the back, limited availability on food. Would fly Viking again but be prepared to be hungry and thirsty.

Gatwick-Preveza return. Both flights on time, nice modern aircraft operated by SunWing, food average airline quality included both ways. Not much legroom. We weren't charged for excess baggage despite being a bit over. Preveza airport is a pretty basic so wouldn't like to be delayed there. Good value for £230 return.

Gatwick Kefalonia return. Leased Sun Wing aircraft with Canadian crew both ways. Average charter aircraft with minimal seat pitch, good cabin crew. Dont like the seat selection scam and thankfully most of my fellow passengers did not fall for it either, only about 10 people pre-booked seats. They will charge you for excess baggage in Kefalonia so beware, they will also weigh hand baggage if it looks weighty and charge you accordingly.

We flew Sharm El Sheikh return. We had extra leg room seats which were a godsend and cabin crew were fantastic. Coming back we were delayed by an hour but still had a good flight back. The onboard films were good and cabin crew good also.

Tenerife to Gatwick. Be careful when asking for extra leg room at the check in desk in Tenerife South. They say there are seats and ask you to pay in cash and pass over your boarding ticket. when boarded you find out you have don't have the extra legroom seat you've requested and you're out of pocket. Always ask for a receipt if this happens to you. This happened to my family and we were out of pocket by 144 euros! the Viking Cabin crew were excellent trying to sort out the problem and were professional, especially as they had to move so many people out of their seats. They asked me to contact customer service and they were very helpful and hopefully have stopped this scam at Tenerife!

Gatwick to Skiathos return. Had an unexpected bonus with a hot meal on the way out, had thought we had to buy snacks from trolley. On way back another hot meal, staff good and helpful. Would say there was a cursory glance at baggage weight on way out, but was much more rigid on way back, hand luggage included. As a party of 7 all our bags were weighed and then divided by the actual allowance and we were within the limit, but individually some of our bags would have struggled to have come in on weight.
