Transwest Air
review by Kevin McDougald
14 March 2008 Customer Rating :
A short flight from Regina to Saskatoon in a well-used Beechcraft King Air is certainly a unique
experience. In some respects, it's like riding in someone's old car: the seatbelt is difficult to do
up, the windows could use replacing, and everything looks a bit worn. Note also that the King Air
does not have lavatories on board. However, flying with an airline where the Captain doubles as the
baggage handler, a friendly off-duty ground crew member acts as the de facto flight attendant and
the passengers have to pass around the complimentary, self-serve coffee gives the flight a human
touch that the large corporate airlines lack.
