Transnusa - by Matthias Reisinger

TransNusa is a cooperation of Pelita Air and Trigana. I flew Trigana KOE to ARD and back on small ATR-
42's. The general impression of the airline has been good. They do e-bookings (via a travel agent),
and planes seemed well maintained.

I flew Transnusa from Denpasar (Bali) to Mataram (Lombok) twice (price
about $27 one-way) and was happy with the service, price and
punctuality. Staff is cheerful and polite, and the planes are in good
shape. I booked tickets by calling ahead and paying in cash at check-in
with no problem. No meal can be served on such a short flight but we
still got some sweets and water. Transnusa codeshares with Trigana and
uses ATR-42 planes that look and feel new, certainly better than the
weary old jet planes that Merpati uses on the same route.
