Toronto to Venice and return on an A330 Rome to Toronto. Both times we paid for the upgrade to Club Class.
Upgrade was a waste of money as there was nothing special in either the service, food or comfort. The food
was deplorable, it was all substandard. The greeting by the flight attendant at the door was: We are not
ready for you. No entertainment to speak of other than the large screen upfront which I could not see and the
music selection was not to my liking. In all not a pleasant experience and possible the worst airline I have
travelled with.

MAN-YVR, YYC-MAN in economy. Both flights on A330-200 yet to undergo the refurb being undertaken by the
airline. Flights on time, crew service level very good and food simple but very acceptable. Leg room no worse
than Air Canada or BA. Seats are pretty narrow - 3-3-3 layout in economy rather than 2-4-2 norm but unless
you are on the large side not uncomfortable. No seat back screens but these are being rolled out. Suggest it's
best to bring your own entertainment with you. Return flight via LGW which we were advised of a month
before the flight. Inconvenient but nothing more. You get what you pay for.

Flew Glasgow to Toronto return in economy class. Both flights were excellent with attentive staff. We pre
booked our seats towards the rear of the plane and had ample leg room, seats were comfortable and
everything worked properly. Food was standard airline food but we were given a choice of 3 main meals, it
was served very efficiently. Soft drinks were free and served frequently and wine was free with the main
meal. On the return journey my duty free failed to turn up at the departure gate but the cabin crew dealt with
it and delivered my duty free to my seat before we departed. The only thing I could fault is the amount of
toilets, there just is not enough for the size of plane and result in long queues forming. Apart from that i
would be more than happy to fly with them again.

Just returned from Calgary to Manchester. I booked and paid for a direct flight and at the last minute I found
out that I would have to go to Gatwick first. The cabin was old and tatty, the seats were very narrow for a
transatlantic flight. The television screen in the ceiling was so dark it was impossible to see. The food was
inedible and the service of the cabin staff poor. I will never use this airline again.

YYZ-DUB on A310, SNN-YYZ on A330. Outbound flight on time and the cabin crew were exceedingly good.
Food, given the 22.30 departure was not needed, but breakfast the following morning was good. Return leg
was late departing Shannon through no fault of Air Transat (blame rests with Dublin Airport Authority and
their poor security). Flight was good with attentive service by the flight crew. Both legs were in Club and I
still feel that it represents good value when compared to Air Canada which is the only other option available
between Canada and Ireland, on a direct basis. But I do hope AT complete their upgrade process before our
next visit to Ireland as the interiors are starting to look a little tired. I have little interest in IFE as I do not
watch movies on a plane so the complaints about it are of little interest to me. AT is not perfect but they do
offer value for money, good service and they provide regular direct service to Ireland and as a result they will
continue to get my business.

LGW-YUL-LGW. Comfortable seats with adequate legroom. Flight attendants friendly and efficient and the
standard of catering was okay. The only thing you had to pay for was alcoholic drinks, except with dinner,
which was not a problem. Aircraft had ceiling rather than seat-back movie screens but this did not bother us,
no scratched screens or a screen in your face when the seat in front reclines! Unfortunately on the return leg
the films were in French. Flight was on time in both directions and we arrived in a good mood. Definitely no
worse than long-haul BA and Virgin flights that we have taken and all in all exceptional value for money. Will
use Air Transat again.

LHR-YVR on A330 Business Class. Very old plane. IFE a sad affair. Seats far too narrow having old style trays
and screens set in the armrest. Plane left late because luggage had to be off-loaded. The plane is configured
with one galley in front of business section. Cabin staff gave the impression that BC passengers could starve
until Economy were fed. And starve we did. Return journey was on a brand new A330. Some things were
better seats had 2” aisle armrests but they retained 4” ones for centre (why?). This left a little more room
(still quite narrow) but note that Row 1 retains 4” throughout and I assume very narrow seats indeed. The
IFE was a major improvement. Still one galley but staff handled matters better in giving out snacks. It
produced a different problem in that it was an overnight flight and I was in an aisle seat just in front of
Economy. I was woken about 8 times as stewards wafted through, brushed against me, rammed a trolley
against my seat as they serviced the back of the plane. A loud ‘ping’ kept sounding throughout the night as
attendants were called. Tray backs were better. Seats had no lumber or neck support and left one with lower
back pain for the last 3 hours of the flight. Why put in an expensive IFE and then render it useless by
providing cheap third-world headphones that will not fit anyone's ears?

Rome to Toronto. My problem with Air Transat Club Class is that my wife and I got the "club" without the
"class". We boarded early and before getting into our seats had to remove the Purser's bag that was lying on
my seat (3B). After take off, food and drink service started and was frequent throughout the flight, maybe a
little too frequent, if you were trying to read, watch a movie or nap. The food was of inferior quality, not
fresh. The food should not have been served in this state. The extra cost of Club Class was not worth it, and
if I ever consider taking Air Transat again, Optimum Plus or Economy will be just fine.

Glasgow to Toronto. The Airbus was beginning to show its age. Leg room is adequate but the seats are very
narrow. I expected sub-standard entertainment so I was not disappointed by the appearance of drop-down
sets in the centre. I was however, pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the professionalism of
the staff. This was by far the cheapest option and represented very good value for money overall. Would use
again.

LGW-YVR. Great cabin crew, seats narrow but acceptable, food and beverage service adequate. Can't
complain, booked and paid for extra legroom, no problem some spare seats on flight.

Booked return flight from Gatwick to Calgary Club Class both ways. Was contacted 1 week before we left and
told we had been downgrade on our return flight. Was refunded return upgrade price and told we could have
all upgrade facilities except the seat. We had free drinks and a blanket. We were also told the reason was
Club Class on return flight only had 12 seats instead of 21, Untrue, there was 21 seats and they were all full.
A passenger sitting beside us said she was flying on to Manchester and she knew 3 weeks prior to flying. If
we had known 3 weeks before we would had booked another flight. Even with extra leg room seats they were
very narrow, food was disgusting, the only good part was the cabin crew who were great.

I booked a flight from Toronto to London Gatwick. I paid to reserve a seat as I am 6'4 it was an extra $160.
On my flight from Toronto to London they downgraded the airplane which I guess voided all reserved seats.
Upon calling the customer service to assure my seat selection, they instead gave me an aisle seat beside the
bathroom. On the flight back I ended up in a middle seat which is not what I had reserved. I would not
recommend paying for a reserve seat as its a waste of time and money. I should add the staff had to contend
with the entertainment system breaking down. Total disappointment.

Gatwick to Montreal. Seating uncomfortable as lady in front fully reclined her seat and was very rude when
asked to moderate angle. Food dreadful. Return from Toronto overnight was the most uncomfortable I have
ever been. The food was shocking. Never again.

Glasgow-Calgary return in club 1j,k outbound, 1a,b on return. Both flights were on the older A310's, seats
were ok for width and legroom, both flights were trouble free considering my wife is disabled and requires
assistance on and off the aircraft. Staff at check-in and onboard were very helpful, polite and cheerful. We
booked early and got a very good price for the club cabin, we also had the extra baggage allowance of 40
kilos which was very good. Only downside was the lack of a good entertainment system, I return to Calgary in
October 2012 so I'm hoping to get the flights on an upgraded A330, in summary we had more service than
expected from a charter company.

Booked Calgary to Manchester (direct) return. Two weeks before travelling we were told the return leg was to
be through Gatwick, effectively adding 4 hours to this return leg. When we complained we were told to take it
or leave it, it is in the terms and conditions they can change time or flights as deemed necessary. No avenue
of compensation for extra costs we incurred, totally unacceptable. Situation made worse by complete lack of
accurate information for these passengers, we were told we had to leave the aircraft in Gatwick, go through
immigration, passport control and baggage reclaim, then check-in again for the Manchester leg. Totally
wrong, we only had to get off the plane, walk 20 minutes to a baggage search and then walk back to the
plane and reboard - complete waste of time. We landed in Gatwick 0845, departed at 1045 in Manchester at
12 noon, bags cleared at 1240. Never again.
