London Gatwick to Vancouver, BC. Flight was 10 hours. Upon arriving at check-in counter, staff were rude and
did not smile. Cabin luggage was restricted to 5kg for a long haul flight. I was forced to pay for the excess
weight fee. The flight crews took 4 hours to serve our lunch and the food was awful. I didn't enjoy the meal.
I asked for a feedback form to write down my flight experience, I had to asked 3 times in order to get the
form, which took approximately 3 hours. The seat was not comfortable for a long haul flight and certainly
needs improvement. Overall, I was not happy with this airline, the service level needs improvement.

I found this airline does what it says. It is an inexpensive, budget charter service that got me to my vacation
destination and brought me back with no fuss or problems. The seats can be a bit narrow for those that are
overweight, however most of the arm rests raise up to give yourself the extra room. All in all not a bad
airline.

Was very good! Didn't reserve seat but got a seat with no one sitting beside me anyway. Not bad food, for
the price I would have expected less. Personal TV screens, overall friendly staff, perfect for my much-wanted
cheap flight back home. Definitely would fly again!

Have not even flown yet but already experiencing issues - pre-booked a bulk head seat to accommodate my 6
month old son. 10 days before the flight is due to leave I am informed that this seat is no longer available
due to them deciding to change to a smaller plane. Am furious, I paid in advance to secure this spot. Was
not even offered the option to upgrade for a reduced fee. Am now absolutely dreading this flight. Customer
service are extremely rude and do not care - pure clock watchers.

Glasgow-Toronto and upgraded to premium class and could not fault anything about it. Could not upgrade on
the return and it was very poor, seating was ok but meal and service was terrible - did not even get offered a
water or soft drink. We have travelled many economy flights but this was certainly the most pitiful by a mile.
Remarks were only for outgoing flight.

Toronto-Lisbon in club class. Not enough leg room in this section, slightly different from economy seats and
not worthy of paying extra for. In Toronto Pearson club class lounge, they will charge you $15 + tax for 1
hour, and $24 + tax for 2 hours stay. Ground staff are not very friendly. My second experience with Air
Transat after 6 years, nothing was the same let alone improved.

We have made 10 journeys this year between Toronto and Manchester, UK. Flights close to being on time or a little
early. To me (frequent AC customer) an airline that takes it's schedule seriously is one to recommend. The seats
and meals are not particularly good, but for a discount carrier, they are acceptable. My only real gripe are there
are too many announcements, and being also in French the problem is exacerbated. Travelled in both Business and
Economy.

Montreal to Paris return. Economy. Check-in online worked well, flights on time. The service is slow, portions
small, food mainly rice or pasta, served 2 hours after departing was inconvenient on the overnight flight.
Entertainment on small folding screens in the centre of the cabin. So called "option plus" gives you a blanket,
earphones, seat selection and champagne with Pringles.

We booked seats on Air Transat from Toronto to Rome. We paid extra for the option plus so that my husband had more
leg room, as he has sciatica and needs to be able to stretch his legs out, and had our seats confirmed by our
travel agent. When we got to the airport we were informed that the plane we had originally been booked on was too
full so they had changed us all to a larger plane. WE did get the aisle/window seat we had paid for, but not the
extra legroom seats. The flight attendant asked the flight director to come and speak with us as she could see that
we had not been given the leg room we had specifically requested and paid for. The flight director gave us a slip
of paper stating that we did not get what we had paid for. She told us to contact Air Transat and give them the
paper she had given us. We told our Travel agent about this and she did contact Air Transat. Their reply - they
did give us the aisle seat/ window seat and therefore no refund. Not one word mentioned by them that the leg room
was not given.

Air Transat / Canadian Affair London to Vancouver recently and regretted every minute. I had paid extra for more
legroom, but it turned out to be at the front and was used constantly as a corridor for people to get to the
toilets, as well as by harassed staff taking a short cut to the preparation areas. I complained but the staff said
there was nothing they could do. So I spent the whole flight with my legs cramped - stretching them was not just
impossible, it was dangerous- my legs were kicked and stamped on- and I was unable to relax, let alone sleep or
even doze. Despite daily emails while in Canada, they refused to take it seriously and I had to pay myself for an
upgrade for the return flight. Complaining bitterly on my return, there was delay after delay in dealing with it
and the case is now being dealt with in court. At the Transat desk in Vancouver, I was told that this was a
regular complaint. Anyone tall and more than middle aged should think very seriously about the cash saving - I
would never dream of flying with them again.

Vancouver to London Gatwick. This is the worst flight I have been on, and first time I have experienced seats that
do not recline, and extremely limited leg room. Food, particularly the so called breakfast a joke. Flight back was
with Canadian Affair (I know they are sister companies), and was better, both with the seats - which did recline
fractionally and the quality of food. However, they had overbooked the return flight and our pre-confirmed/pre-paid
tickets had been reserved twice! We were given different seats. Thankfully it was a daytime flight as for the
whole ten hours the back of our seats were being kicked by the children sitting behind us.

Vancouver to Amsterdam on an A330 in Club Class. Thought Club Class meant Business Class with comfortable
seats that recline almost or completely 180 degrees. Not on this plane. While the food was good and service
adequate, the seat was ridiculous. It only reclined about as much as an Economy seat, and there was no foot rest
at all. The entertainment system was bad, you did not get an individual monitor with on-demand movies, etc.
Would never fly Club Class again, at least on the A330s.

Manchester-Toronto, Toronto-London. Travelled in Economy outbound as it was a daytime flight, and managed to
get some sleep. Everything was fine, left on time, good service throughout. On the return I asked about a paid
upgrade whilst boarding so I could have a drink and sleep through and I was upgraded in the end and I managed to
get some sleep. Travelling again with Air Transat for a family holiday in Club next week, so my expectations are

YYZ-GLA and DUB-YYZ. Very nice flight and crew, the planes were clean and modern although there was a change
in equipment from when I booked my seats which in my case didn't cause a problem. The original return fight was
in a 3-3-3 configuration and the return was in a 2-4-2 config which is actually much better. Minor problems with
the entertainment but they were solved by the crew and the movies played without problems after that. On the
YYZ-GLA leg they explained that they might run out of peoples choice for hot meals and sitting at the back I'd
expected that. The only down side to the experience was that on arrival in YYZ we ran into some turbulence due to
thunderstorms in the area and had to do a missed approach. There was no explanation from the flight deck once
we were back at altitude and holding over Niagara Falls.

I was looking forward to the Business Class experience, having paid over £1,200 for the ticket from Manchester to
Toronto. At check-in I was told there was no Club Class on the flight due to a change in planes, but that we would
be contacted regarding a refund. I have still not been contacted almost 2 weeks later and have been told by their
Customer Services that it's not their problem. In addition to struggling to get my money back, the actual flight to
Toronto was the worst I've experienced in the last 15 yrs - and I travel a lot, mostly Economy Class. The food
was poor and I was missed out of the offer of a drink, a snack and had no headset until I went to ask the
stewardess for one.

Flew Toronto to Munich. I was pleasantly surprised, the flight itself was great, nice and smooth, I think we were
even 20 mins early on return. Only minor hiccup was that onboard staff didn't really explain when to buy ear
phones or let us know they were selling them, and they were a bit confused for some reason when I asked for
one. However, I would fly with them again.

YYZ-LGW return GLA-YYZ. Being tall, paid for the extra legroom seats - worth the money. Flights were on-time
and service better than expected. However there is a noticeable difference in comfort between the A330-300s
and the -200s. A330-300s have a 2-4-2 cross section and are quite comfortable. A330-200s have a 3-3-3 cross
section and are noticeably cramped (narrow seats with incredibly limited headroom at the window).

Athens from Toronto Economy Class. Seats are too small for the flight length and hard. TV screens are few and far
away, not at each seat. This made trying to watch a movie next to impossible as people were getting up to use
washrooms, blocking the screens. They don't feed you until in 4 hours into the flight by which time you're are
hungry. Return they provided more snacks between meals. Much better outbound to Toronto compared to the
return.

LGW-YYZ return. Paid supplement for seat choice. Boarding at LGW was chaotic and appeared to delay departure
by 30 mins. A330-300 was clean with reasonably comfortable seats. Crew were welcoming, service a little slow.
Fun trio is good value, especially as large cans of mixers were free with spirits. Meal was adequate with choice of
hot dish, complimentary red wine was poor in taste. Boarding return flight on C-GTSD, I believe a recently acquired
A330-300, I noticed rear cabin had different seats from rest of Economy section - thicker seat backs which
severely compromised legroom. Dinner was tastier than outbound and wine slightly better.

I took my family of 4 to Frankfurt in Club Class. The tickets were the same price as Economy tickets on other
major carriers. Service was good, food on the red eye flight was ok. Food on the 3pm return flight was really good
and plentiful. Domestic premier drinks were offered often and the seats were ok. The pitch was not great but the
width good. Blankets and amenity kits were available without charge. It would have been nice to have TV screens
in the headsets but you can't have everything. The movies were ok but not child oriented. They did hand out Kids
Activity Kits. Priority check in was good but Priority luggage was excellent. First to get the luggage off the carousel
and out of the airport. Overall, good value for money.

This is the second and last time. On both occasions cabin temperature was unacceptably hot during boarding
process. I decided to travel in Club class, their version of soft Business and was surprised by the lack of room. The
seat is equipped with an electrically operated foot rest, however it can only raise your feet slightly as you hit the
seat in front. The interior is well over due for refurbishment.

Club Class Gatwick - Toronto return. Service before and flight was poor. Difficult to find check-in at Gatwick
although once found it was efficient. Priority boarding non-existent/chaotic and slightly better at Toronto. Priority
baggage reclaim awful at both airports, a shame as the service and comfort onboard could not be faulted. Food
was excellent, staff pleasant and attentive. The seat pitch was good and seats comfortable and we began to feel it
was worth the upgrade. On disembarkation - most other airlines allow Club passengers to disembark first - this
was not the case.

You get what you pay for. Tickets are cheap but they recover money by charging extra. I paid extra on a
Montreal-Paris flight to reserve an aisle and a window seat for my wife. They changed the configuration of the
plane and added a seat, they kept my money. On the return flight, I noticed there were only 3 restrooms for
about 250-300 passengers which were not clean.

back I had to fly in economy as we had to change the flight date due to a family emergency back. Staff very
helpful in changing the flights for me. The economy seats are much to small for a 11 hour flight. I can do a 4

Wife and I flew Manchester to Calgary return. Chose Air Transat because it was a direct flight, have to say was
pleasantly suprised at the service. Check in at both airports was spot on, outbound flight A300 we had an aisle
seat and the legroom was better than any I have had on other airlines. Inbound was a little cramped, so the cabin
bag had to go in overhead locker instead of under the seat where I like it. I wouldn't drink alcohol on a flight
anyway so that extra was no worry, main meal good enough. Just wish they flew direct to the US.

ok, and they showed a variety of films. A310 is ageing, but the seats towards the rear (26) have 2-3-2 seating

I travelled with a friend on Air Transat out of Dublin. We purchased 3 miniature vodka's 2 came as part of special
offer with headphone's. Drank 2 and approx 4hrs into the flight went to the galley at back of plane to ask for ice. A
lot of the crew were there and I asked stewardess for ice, she asked me what I wanted it for. What she said next
is the main reason I write this. "We have a problem on these flights with people opening their duty free". She gave
it to me and I returned to my seat. I returned to this stewardess who was then seated starting her meal to show
her the empty and full bottles. I was offered a complaint form which I refused by a stewardess who followed me, I
declined. There is a manner in which a person can get a point across, hers left a lot to be desired. Would I fly with
Air Transat again, of course.

Travel with Air Transat regularly to Ireland and down south at least once a year. Have had many issues with them
over the years from running out of food to ignorant staff both in the air and on the ground. Their "Customer
Service" is a joke and unfortunately we are at the mercy of this airline here in Canada as they are the only one left
doing direct flights to Ireland from Apr-Oct. After waiting 6 weeks for a response from their "customer service
staff" I have yet to be compensated for any of the rotten service or rude staff.

We flew to Munich as they had a sale. We decided to upgrade to option plus so that we could pick our seats and
have a few extras, well there were no extras at all. When we asked about getting our drink the lady told us we
would have to wait till after dinner and then never came back to offer us a drink which was to be included in our
option plus. We got no perks and when we brought this up to the crew manager she simply said they didn't know
we were option plus. I had the head rest cover put up beside me on the magazine rack (we chose to sit in the
emergency exit what a mistake that was). They conveniently avoided us the whole trip, after talking to the crew
leader she ended up giving us a bottle of wine and some old, stale snacks trying to make it better. We ended up
paying to upgrade to Club Class on the way home but was worth not having to sit in the Economy seats again.

Calgary-Gatwick Return. Outbound flight was with Thomas Cook. Return flight was with CanJet. Very confusing.
Check in lines were long but processing fast and efficiently so not a big complaint. Seats were very cramped.
Worse on outbound flight than return, perhaps because we sat in a different row. Food was awful, in-flight service
was poor on outbound. Had a spill during meal, took 20 mins for attendant to respond to our call button for a
paper towel to mop up. Confusion over payment methods. Outbound was only credit card. Return was only

Flew Toronto-Athens, did not enjoy anything about the flight, food was awful, no attention from the staff (did not
have food or drink for 4 hrs after leaving Montreal). The staff were too involved with option plus customers and
duty free sales, seats too small, could not see the movie screen, however, on the return flight of which was a
cook flight was amazing. Much bigger seats, food was much better and staff was very attentive and wonderful on
our return flight. Always there when we needed them and was always offering food or drink without having to
look for them. Bravo! Had our own personal TV's with a large video selection. Great price so was worth the
difficult first flight, but would definitely book again if I could get the 2nd plane for both ways.

Vienna-Montreal. It was a one way flight and we had a lot of luggage as we were moving back to Canada after a
work assignment. I have flown with many airlines and Air Transat is definitely one of the better ones. Ticket price is
definitely a factor as I paid half the price of a regular airline but I got equivalent service. Sure, there were shared
movie screens and we had to pay for alcohol but these amenities would never justify doubling the ticket price for
me. The crew was super friendly, the food was excellent and they were very generous with our obviously oversized carry
on luggage. Seating was also excellent.

Travelling alone with a baby! I was travelling from London (Gatwick) to Toronto with my 7 month old son. When I
got to the check in counter I was told that I would need to pay an extra $300 as my bags were over weight. I
proceeded to try and see if I could move items to a diaper bag (as the weight was mostly baby food) that I had
left in my luggage. I was told by the man at the counter that I could only take one hand luggage. Reading their
policies this is not correct. I was also allowed a diaper bag for the baby in addition to one hand luggage for me
(purse). Regardless, with no help being offered by the people working there I decided to just pay the amount to
ease the situation. So my low cost ticket ended up being the same price that I would have paid travelling with a
reputable airline. Then the guy at the counter decided to weigh my baby car seat which is free to check in. It was
a regular sized car seat, I didn't see the purpose of having to weigh it. I left the counter in tears and no one
showed any consideration towards me. When I got to the gate I had requested that someone help me carry my
stroller. I was told "we will see what we can do." After waiting, and no one coming to help me an old couple from
Canada asked if they could help me with the stroller.

I have flown with Air Transat on several occasions now for overseas flights. The seating is adequate and the
interior appointments are not luxury, but the airline is run efficiently. The flights I have taken, and especially,
Toronto-Rome and Gatwick to Toronto were on time, the service polite and accommodating, and the after-flight
care wonderful. You get what you pay for economy travel with royal service.

Toronto-Manchester return Club Class. Priority check-in, fast lane security (Manchester) first
on/off plane, baggage allowance and prompt service. I spent an extra $940 to travel Club Class,
width of seat was fine but the food tray is in the armrest on seats in Club Class, so my tray
would not fold out adequately for me. I ended up propping up my drinks and tray on my neck
pillow. All the reviews I had read did not mention the situation regarding the trays. The Air
Transat website states specifically that Row 1 has armrest trays and that might slightly
compromise seat width and comfort, however, the official seat plan of Air Transat states, Row 2
and Row 3 are Standard Club Seats (no indication of armrest trays, which led me to believe if I
sat in Row 3, I would be fine. I do feel somewhat deceived in this respect especially since I did
pay twice the cost of an economy ticket.

The food was fine, even tasty, staff were lovely. I'm 5'6" so leg room wasn't too bad. There
are shared screens. The computer systems went down at Gatwick where I flew from, affecting all
airlines so we waited in a queue to check in. I was 20 kilos overweight so expected to pay an
additional 200 plus pounds but the lady at check in waived the fee for my having to wait in
line for an hour.

My Daughter and I just came back from a vacation from Paris and we flew Air Transat. Chose the
Club level of service and more than pleased with the service. Flight attendants were more than
courteous, food was outstanding and flights were on-time. Flight attendant and said in about 18
months they were going to redo the Club seating - that was our only complaint as it was a bit
cramped.

Toronto-London Gatwick. Got window seat and modern A330 I believe. Amsterdam-Toronto was on an
older A310. Staff was great and courteous. The only thing that I did not like was the selection
of movies and on A310 they were played on main cabin screen, A330 on seat screen. Overall the
trip was worth the money.

Rome to Toronto. The dinner of chicken with penne was disgusting. I think Air Transit is being
taken advantage of, being supplied very poor quality food. The food Toronto to Rome was not as
bad but still very poor. Everything else was good.
