NRT-BKK. Very good experience. In fact much better than the flight I arrived on from America. The staff and
service was excellent. United Airlines could learn a thing or two from the customer service. Never had to ask
for a refill on drinks and food was the best I have had on any flight. Plenty of room and personal TV with a
lot of good entertainment. Wonderful to see young flight attendants that take pride in their looks, unlike that
on most of the American flights. I would recommend using Thai airways to anyone.

LHR-BKK-LHR. A340-600 - very light pax load on way out (approx. 100) and medium on return and super
service from the crew, inseat IFE good, but hard to see when seat in front of you reclines. Overall I would
have no problem flying Thai again.

MXP-BKK, CEI-BKK-HKT-BKK-FCO. Every type of service and aircraft on this long journey. First long leg MXP-
BKK on A346, everything was great (service, entertainment, food, clean plane, etc.). Domestic routes are
flown with older A300 (CEI-BKK) and B747 in old seat config. PHK-BKK-PHK: the planes are obviously old but
not worn and was great including the service with snack/drink on every flight, even though the flight time was
just 50 mins. During the return from Phuket, staff gave us seats on an early flight saving us 2-3 hours in HKT
airport. The worst part was the last long BKK-FCO route: service and food is always great with Thai, but 12
hours flights cannot be flown with old economy classes in the B747 (no IFE at all and less space than usual).
Hope to see the new classes in B747s soon.

BKK–LAX–BKK on A340-500 B-Class. The lounge at BKK airport is excellent. The flight left on time to LAX.
The service is wonderful but the food is more or less similar to that of economy class. The entree and main
course are all served together at the same time. The entertainment choices are limited and no noise
cancelling headphone. The seat while it claims to be 170 degree actually slopes quite severely, making
uncomfortable for sleeping. I felt that I am sliding down all the time. Overall, good value for money – since
it is 40% cheaper than CX and at least 60% cheaper than SQ.

Why is it that European airports are getting the A380 before London when Paris, for example, is already
served by 777s and London is stuck with the small and badly laid out A340? I'd rather have the old 747 back
anytime. First Class is badly done on the A340, it's too cramped and you can't even get to a companion on
the other side of the cabin without a visit through the galley. Same old menu unchanged for years now.
Looks like I will need to change airlines unless Thai UK gets its fleet sorted out.

LHR-BKK return on Airbus 300. Adequate seating, personal rear in seat entertainment. Good food and good
service. Value for money.

SYD-BKK return on reconfigured 747. Check-in in SYD not exactly 'premium' but seats were finally changed to
our liking (originally booked A346). Lounge in BKK fine and enjoyed shower facilities. I liked the smaller
lounge in concourse C as it's more personal although food selection in the major lounge is much better.
Service and staff in lounge very good although English skills variable to non existent. Travelled upstairs both
ways 12A then 16A which would have to be the best BIZ seat on the plane with unlimited legroom due to exit
row. Cabin crew great both ways and enjoyed the French wines, cognac etc. Food much better out of SYD
than BKK which surprised me but above average all-the-same. Seat good in appearance, cleanliness and
functionality although angled still good for relaxing. An enjoyable experience.

MUC-BKK-TPE. MUC-BKK on 744 with my C Class seat in the upper deck. Seats are very narrow and the steep
angle makes it almost impossible to stretch out comfortably. Food was unspectacular but alt least served by
very friendly and attentive crew members. New AVOD IFE on 744 is pretty good with lots of choices but the
screen could be bigger. Lounges in BKK were packed and the seating definitely needs a makeover. Stained,
torn and faded chairs everywhere. Shower facilities are still in good condition and kept clean, however no
toiletries are provided. BKK-TPE on A333 with unbelievably old seats (faded and worn). Almost no recline and
a completely useless footrest. Entertainment provided on a microscopic, flickering fold-out monitor in the
armrest (Non-AVOD). Food was again unspectacular, some other airlines from the middle east serve better
meals even in economy. Overall a pretty disappointing experience compared to the products of other airlines
from that region.

SGN-BKK-NRT. The food was sub par but what airline food is good? Seat comfortable, staff attentive, plane
was very clean and plenty of choices on the movies with individual screens for each seat.

AKL-BKK-AKL return. Both flights were on a 777-200. Outbound flight was okay, food average. FA's were
good. Inbound food was not good, I wish they would change the menu, FA's seemed tired and did the
minimum. Overall okay.

DXB-BKK and BKK-DXB: The food was not great. The seat seems to have room to recline more - but can't.
The crew was very nice and helpful. Everything was usually very clean. BKK airport Thai lounge will not allow
a lounge upgrade which was highly disappointing.

A330-200 BKK-PER. Reasonably comfortable seats but the 32" legroom is a bit tight for those 6ft+ and not
the widest seats. Personal TV with AVOD and new movies added in the week since I last flew with Thai.
Excellent service and good food with breakfast and a reasonably substantial sandwich option just prior to
landing. Thai is by no means the best Australasia / Asia airline but certainly is not the worst either and
gives Singapore and Malaysian at the top, a good run for their money.

A330-200, PER-BKK. Not as much legroom as I'd hoped - 32". Personal TV with AVOD. Good food but only
one meal on a 7hr flight. Good service re. drinks but the red wine is pretty awful. Overall - reasonable.

B747-400 BKK-LHR. As expected one of the old 744 with no personal TV. Not a major issue as being a
night flight was aiming to sleep anyway. Stacks of legroom (I'm 6ft) and the seats reasonably comfortable
with good recline. No head-rest flaps on the seat but wasn't an issue as could lean up against the window.
Food, drinks and service all very good as expected with Thai. Frequently brought around trays of water and
juices during the flight even when most people were sleeping.

A340-600 LHR-BKK. Good legroom - more than A330 but less than B747. Seat recline about the same as
A330 (same seats) but not as much as B747. Personal TV with AVOD and good choice of movies and TV.
Excellent service of food and drinks with dinner, then sandwiches and finally breakfast. Food all very edible.

Flight out from London to Bangkok on a 747 was fine - reasonable seat back entertainment system and
comfortable seats (although the entertainment system was prone to crashing and restarting several times
en-route). Food was also good. Service fine - nothing special. Flight back was dreadful. An ancient 747,
inflight entertainment was a joke - faded projector screens at the end of the aisle. Crew were surly and
miserable, the food choices ran out long before it got to us, so there was no choice for the majority of the
passengers. Crew kept out of the way for most of the flight.
