SIN-BKK-SIN. Check in and boarding efficient and organized. The food was excellent - compared
to flights with Thai Airways for the same route a year ago, it can be seen that they have
removed some in flight services due to cost cutting. There is no more hot towel provided
after take off in economy class. Drinks only served during meal time, not as frequent as
before. AVOD is totally non-existent. Thai Airways don't cut on the quality of meal.

Singapore - Bangkok C class. Last minute change to an old worn 747-400. I am flying Thai for
20 years now, and this was exactly the same C class seat Thai used 20 years ago. Uncomfortable
and worn-out. Food the usual Economy class food served on china. Tired looking and rather
disinterested cabin crew. Overall a disappointing experience.

SYD-BKK-AKL business class. Both legs with the angled lie-flat business class seat I found
this uncomfortable as I slid down when attempting to sleep. Also as I had a window seat on
both legs, getting out to use the bathroom without disturbing the person next to me became
awkward when trying to clamber over their legs without waking them. Service onboard was
efficient, though not warm. Some of the crew looked as if they did not want to be there. No
water runs at all. I had to get up and request a bottle of water as the cabins were devoid of
crew after the lights went down. AVOD was OK, but with a limited choice of recent movies and
only a few TV shows. I worked my way through what I wanted to see on the way to Bangkok, so I
did not really bother on the leg to AKL, What did make up for it was the cost. A lot cheaper
than other options I looked at.

BKK-SYD on B777. Lots of legroom in economy. AVOD, though nothing of interest to watch so
listened to music instead. Menu delivered with 2 choices for both meals served. Flight crew
regularly did the rounds over night with water/soft drink top ups.

FRA-BKK in C class. Departure gate was part of the charter flight section of terminal 1 of FRA
airport. Crowded, noisy with no lounge nearby. Pax were expected to walk to Departure B to
visit the lounge (a 20 minutes walk with 2 security checks). Totally unacceptable. Onboard
Champagne was served. It did not taste like Champagne, and when I asked to view the label, I
discovered that it was cheap German sparkling wine, selling for 4.99 Eur at the Supermarket.
Only after I pointed out that the menu stated real Champagne, a bottle was opened after some
reluctance. Food was Y class served on china - the first time I experienced it on a long haul
flight.

SYD-BKK-CNX Economy on 777-300. Flight from Sydney to Bangkok was on what appeared to be a
relatively new 777-300. Flight attendants excellent, beverage service started at 10.30am
followed by a good meal. Few hours out of BKK light meal served, refreshments were available
throughout the flight. In seat personal Vods updated and better since the last time we flew
Thai 2 years prior. BKK-CNX economy on older 777-300 light snack served on short flight. We
were bused out to the plane at BKK thought this was strange as there were a lot of empty piers
in the domestic terminal. HKT-BKK-SYD Economy. Phuket to BKK on A330 flight full light meal
provided, left and arrived on time all flight attendants we spoke to were efficient and
friendly. Bangkok to SYD economy on 777-200 the midnight flight. Flight appeared to be only
2/3 full late dinner meal served about 1 hour into flight plus refreshments, most of the cabin
went to sleep. If you can sleep on planes this is an ideal flight back to SYD. Breakfast
served about 2 hours from SYD cannot make real comments on FA's as they disappeared about 3
hours into flight whilst most of the cabin was asleep. Personal VOD system excellent.

FRA-BKK-FRA First Class. Great selection of foods and beverages. FAs gave excellent service.
The seats are perfect to sleep during the flight. Excellent service at arrival in Bangkok as
well as on departure with private check-in and butler service.

LHR-BKK on 747-economy; No personal VODS and only poor quality projected films that were
almost impossible to see. No film choice and only low budget movies shown. Unacceptable on
today's long haul flights. Staff excellent and food acceptable. Legroom excellent but lack of
entertainment means we wont fly with Thai again.

LHR-BKK-HKT return. The flights between London and Bangkok used fairly old 747-400s. The
service on all four flights was excellent, particularly on the long flights. The staff were
particularly professional in the way they handled the passenger from hell who was sitting in
front of us on the return flight and who complained loudly about everything for most of the
journey. All meals were very good, with large portions, and both choices were available each
time. Drinks were offered frequently. Having read these reviews, I was aware we would not
have seatback TVs on the flights to and from London, and was not disappointed. The legroom
was very good. All flights were on time.

CNX-BKK. Check in quick and staff very attentive. Boarding began 25 minutes prior to
departure. Welcomed onboard the A330 aircraft by pleasant, very professional cabin staff. For
such a short flight the onboard service of snack box, complimentary drinks and tea/coffee was
adequate. Aircraft cabin clean and legroom very good. Would use again.

Oslo-Bangkok with A340-600 was great. The food was very good, and FA´s great. However, I was a
little disappointed about the seats, which was not as wide and flat as I had expected.
Bangkok-Chiangmai was one of their old 747. I was placed close to a wall without windows, and
the seats were older and more worn out than I have ever experienced. Such seats in business
class is certainly not a good reputation for THAI.

Frankfurt-Bangkok-Taipei return. FRA-BKK-FRA in First Class, BKK-TPE-BKK in regional Business
Class. First Class cabin is very private on their 747-400, only 10 seats in the front of the
cabin, very serene and relaxing atmosphere. Great service with Caviar entree, and nice
selection of main meals and beverages. On all legs I opted for the Thai or Chinese food and
was never disappointed. Enormous leg room in F, comfy seat in all positions, had a great sleep
on FRA-BKK leg. Good leg room on J to TPE, but found the product in general a bit outdated.
Comfy seats, but recline only average on their A330, but the service was decent for a 3,5h
flight. Checked J Class cabin in their 747, but F a world apart so was worth paying for it.
Senator Lounge in FRA ok, not too busy, as I used the one in Terminal C. Royal First Lounge in
Suvarnabhumi out of this world, excellent food, great service, very comfortable suites for
each passenger or party. On the return flight took advantage of the massage, really worth
trying it to cool down and relax before the 11h flight to FRA. Would fly them again on this
route! No full points only because of rather average regional J Class product.

VTE-BKK-DXB. First leg a very short flight with efficient service. Second leg a half empty
flight with a lot of free seats to stretch out. Poor headsets and very poor entertainment
system on A330 with overhead monitors every 10 rows or so. Definitely bring your own book!
Crew very friendly. Thai ground staff at BKK airport very rude and with attitude.

LHR-BKK-LHR, very old 747-400, entertainment very poor. 3 children under 11 who could not see
the one poor quality screen, with films not suitable for 6 Year olds to view so perhaps it was
for the best. Food was okay, staff also fine, just let down by having no proper entertainment
for a 12 hour flight and a very old 747 which must be due to retire very soon.

LHR-BKK-LHR. Both flights left on time. Crew really friendly and attentive with nice
traditional Thai uniforms (crew got changed to a more western uniform before landing). Crew
were always bringing drinks round the cabin. The inflight entertainment was really poor on the
B747-400, a screen down the cabin which was a struggle to see on both sectors with no seat
back TV'S. The economy class seat has probably the largest reclining angle of any economy
class I have sat in. Overall a great airline with amazing service however the entertainment is
really bad so make sure you pack a book or magazine!

SYD-BKK-HKT return. Sydney to Bangkok on B777-300, all seats full but as a daytime flight was
quite reasonable. Service fine and on time. Bangkok to Phuket on A330 - short flight, on time
and all seats full again. No IFE but as flight was just over an hour it wasn't expected. Snack
was ok. Return flight Phuket to Bangkok on B747-400 and fully booked. Snack was actually
quite nice. Bangkok to Sydney on B777-300 for overnight flight. Seats were really
uncomfortable and the cabin was a bit hot and stuffy. Dinner offered was chicken pasta which
was selected by most passengers in my section or a prawn curry which no one really wanted.
FA's generally ok except for one male FA was actually quite curt and rude to my wife for no
reason. Breakfast was inedible, the tortilla wasn't cooked through and the other bits were so
bland it was bad. IFE also seemed to be slower than on the outbound flight. I would have given
a higher rating but the last sector really spoilt it for them. May consider flying with them
but there are other options to Bangkok and Phuket I would consider in the same price bracket
