SBZ-MUC-SBZ (24-27 May 2013) - Boeing 737NG with plenty of legroom in economy class. Nice staff and pleasant
services. Quite tasty chicken sandwich, decent enough for a 1.5 hrs flight. Great value for price, much cheaper
than LH!

I flew to VIE from OTP and back. Good legroom. Good food and service, and large selection of soft drinks. Managed
to check-in on-line for both flights after a few tries. Also I booked on line with no problem. The terminal in OTP
much better than the one in VIE. Both trips on time. I will fly again with Tarom. The price of the ticket was
cheaper then OS, to my surprise.

Iasi-Rome, promotional tickets at a bargain price. The flight out of Iasi was 1 hour late due to weather. During this
time the pilot kept passengers informed. Service on this 2 hour flight consisted of a sandwich and non-alcoholic
drinks. Seats comfortable, price good, baggage delivery on time. All in all a pleasant experience and worth the money
paid.

Flew from Schipol, Amsterdam to Henri Coanda Bucharest, and back. Plane was a 737-300. The crew were
friendly, they served an in-flight hot meal, which was good, and drinks. There was no movie played, and there
weren't any TVs, as this was an older aircraft. The landing and take-offs were on time. Both flights to
Bucharest and Amsterdam were fine. Overall, the flight was excellent.

Flew a roundabout SkyTeam routing from MIA - IST as a result of Hurricane Sandy which included a leg from
OTP to IST on Tarom. All staff pleasant, cabin load medium so service for the hour flight was prompt and
continuous. A very comfortable, efficient flight that was stress free.

Flew Paris to Oradea via Bucharest. Paris to Bucharest in a 737, departure and arrival on time, no IFE, the
crew served some kind of a hot meal that was unappetizing and tasteless. Some choice of drinks are
available. The crew is neither bad nor good. We landed on time. Fight to Oradea in ATR 72-500, in good
condition. A drink and some chocolate cake is served. On landing in Oradea, we all have to go in a bus that
drives less than 100 meters to arrivals! As with most small airports, luggage comes quickly. Very similar on
the way back, the single employee at the Tarom desk was a little overworked having to cope with 70
travellers at a very early hour. Overall, nothing out of the ordinary from Tarom, but nothing bad either.

FRA to OTP, both trips on time and with good service (small hot and tasty meal) and 2 rounds of drinks. I
would fly them again.

Munich to Bucharest. I booked Tarom often in the past for this trip. However the service is getting worse every time.
They serve now only a sandwich that is very dry and give you the usual drinks - which is still ok. There were about
25% empty seats where some at the exit row were not taken. I am quite tall (202 cm) and have problems to fit into the
normal seats. Now I wanted to change my seat with one at the exit row. The cabin crew member was very arrogant and
unfriendly. He told me to back to my seat as I am booked on this one. My height was for him no argument - he even told
me at business class I have even more space. With Tarom you get from A to B. That's it!

Flew 2 short flights with Tarom and was not very impressed. Both flights ran to time and we were served a
snack by a rather arrogant male cabin crew member. But on the 2nd leg both our seatbelts were faulty and
although we were permitted to move, one of the seats we moved to also had a faulty seatbelt. The cabin of
this propeller plane was old and tatty.

FRA-OTP-CLJ outbound and OTP-FRA inbound. Check-in in FRA was a breeze and handled by LH, security in
FRA took a very long time, but it was during peak time. Bussed to plane and departed about 15 mins late.
Plane to OTP was a A318, almost full. Seating was much better than LH with decent legroom, and I am pretty
tall. Friendly FAs served a small amount of food with no choice, but also a wide selection of alcoholic and
non-alcoholic drinks shortly after take off. There is virtually no inflight entertainment except their magazine
with the usual type of content and advertising. Landing in OTP was smooth, we managed to have a look at
the city, as we were supposed to have a 6hrs stopover. From OTP to CLJ we departed in the evening from the
domestic terminal, which is a rather boring location to sit araound, with only one expensive drink stall but
nothing else to do. Plane to CLJ was again a A318, drinks and small snacks (peanuts or chocolate bar) served
on the 35min lasting leg. After a bumpy landing on the small but new airport, luggage was on the carousel
after 5 minutes only. OTP to FRA: The airport of OTP has undergone a renovation within the last years with a
completely new terminal. Departure was on time on a only half loaded slightly worn 737 classic. Again
friendly FAs served a small amount of food, IFE was non-existent - a matter I don't care of - and after a
hassle free flight we reached FRA, our final destination. Cannot complain at all as we (2 persons) paid less
than 300,- € for all the legs, less than we would have paid on any LCC, taking into account that you have to
reach a rural airport by train or bus and pay extra for virtually any goodie as luggage or coffee. Would
definitely fly again, as the value for money on a short distance flight is excellent.

Bucharest-Istanbul and return in July. Both flights were on time. Not very friendly staff at the OTP airport but
efficient. Good services in the air, however - got the vegetarian meal as previously requested, they served
coffee, juices and a good Romanian wine. The flight attendants were very nice. Overall, good services and it
was very cheap.

We flew Istanbul to Bucharest, having booked on-line. It was all that we'd want from a short flight - left on
time, arrived on time, snack served, no hassles or problems, everything worked as it should. This is the only
time I've flown Tarom.

Flew on Bucharest-Otopeni route, return flight. Excellent service, meal consisted of a sandwich which was
very tasty, a chocolate and a small cake, which for a 50 min flight was more than enough. They served the
usual drinks and some excellent Romanian wine, which was a nice touch for such a short flight. Tried both the
red and the white one and was very satisfied. Otherwise, flights on time, efficient online check in, staff very
friendly, also the captain explained the flight route and gave sufficient information. Had a little attitude
problem with the guy at baggage drop desk which was addressed to the customer service and handed swift
and efficiently.

IST-OTP, OTP-BCN. Both flights adequate for our needs. Meal and drink were fine. Combination of very friendly and
not so friendly flight attendants. Most notable on both flights was the smell of cigarette smoke, obviously coming
from the pilots in the cockpit. My Romanian partner who was travelling with me just laughed and said "welcome to
Romania".

Flight KIV-OTP-LHR. First flight with ATR, second with A318. Very good onboard services, excellent meal and
wine, very friendly staff on both flights. A318 seats very uncomfortable for business and longer flights.

Cluj-Frankfurt (2x in one month). Short flight, but they do offer a light meal. However, although at booking
we specifically asked for special meal, they didn't prepare us anything on both roundtrip flights! When we
pointed this out, staff attitude was something to forget. I only used it because there is no other direct
alternative for this route. Next time will fly Cluj-Munchen-Frankfurt with Lufthansa.

Egypt to Germany, with a stop in Bucharest. Food was horrible, I smelt the pork sausage before I saw it. As a
Muslim I cannot eat this and there was no other choice. Asking the staff what kind of meat this was, they told me
its chicken. Very dull flight without entertainment whatsoever as there were no headphones.

Paris CDG to Bucarest, Economy. B737 is not new, seat pitch is small, and as usual with 737,
you'd better be amongst the first in the plane to get room for your hand luggage. The flight
was uneventful but for 3.5 hours there is no IFE, so get a book or Ipod, because it's
impossible to sleep with so little room on all sides. The crew was not too bad, but I'd
suggest Tarom to change catering - the hot food was tasteless. A good cold meal would be
better. No coffee left when they arrived at our row, gave us instant coffee in tepid water.

Bucharest - Timisoara - Bucharest: A318 on the outbound flight (flight time 35 min), small
ATR42 inbound (flight time 50 min). Small snack and beverage on both flights. Overall a good
experience, though there were small delays.

ATH-OTP B737-700. Check in a breeze, but unclear which lounge to use at Athens. Enough
legspace, no IFE / flight tracking at all, no cockpit announcements. Flight attendants ok but
not too friendly. They did offer a hot meal on a 1h30min flight and complimentary drinks.
A decent product, 3 stars, very good value for money

Bucharest-Istanbul return. Very good price for that sector, considering almost no competition
(only Turkish). For a 50 min flight they provided snack and wine/beer/juices, which is very
rare nowadays. Flights arrived on time. Cabin could use a little refurb.

Tel Aviv to Bucharest. The airconditioning stopped working after about 50 minutes and the
pilot decided to go back to Tel Aviv. They kept us on the plane with no info for about an hour
and then told us to get off plane. There was no Tarom rep at airport and they didn't give us
any info. When a rep finally came, she said they still didn't know anything. After about 4
hours they gave out vouchers for food - just as we were getting food- they said come quickly
back to airplane. We boarded and then sat in plane for another hour. We landed in Bucharest at
0400 instead of 2250 the night before. There was no Tarom rep at airport to help us, and I
have received no reply after 3 weeks from a letter I sent to customer service. All the flight
attendants and ground crew were unfriendly and unhelpful.

OTP-AMS in Economy B737-300. Rude but efficient check in for Sky Team Elite Members. Lounge in
OTP really not well equipped. Uneventful flight, seat pitch narrow and cramped. Seat pads too
soft. Warm edible lunch consisting of chicken and rice. Overall ok flight, but if you have any
choice of another carrier, go for that one.

Good food, but nothing else. A 2 hour delay which made us miss our connecting flight. Being
with a different airline, Tarom did not want to take any responsibility for us missing our
connection. We had to wait 24 hours for new seats and pay new tickets in full. Tarom staff was
rude and arrogant at both airports whenever we went to them to voice our concerns and
complaints. A supervisor did not even want to speak with us. We were stranded in a foreign
country with no money left from our vacation, and Tarom employees refused to even listen to
us.

LHR to OTP return, friendly and efficient crew, aircraft reasonably modern and clean. After
take off served with drinks, then a hot meal. Check-in at OTP is chaotic. Which queue is which
isn't clear. Sometimes staff are excellent, sometimes they are rubbish. Having travelled the
route 4 times in a month we were suddenly told that Tarom don't interline baggage so we
couldn't check our cases through to final destination. When I protested that we had already
done it 3 times in the last month without problem I was told by the Supervisor 'You are
telling lies. it is impossible" . They then agreed to do it 'on your own responsibility' and
it worked perfectly well. Tarom give first class service in economy in the air and need a bit
of polishing at OTP on ground handling.

AMS-OTP-AMS : we got to Bucharest, that's the positive. Cramped, poor food, children running
up and down, late departure both ways, and worn cabin interior. Staff inflight were charming
and helpful. Now they need to sort out the ground staff.

LHR to Bucharest to Bacau. B737 clean, took the low-calorie meal option and looked better than
what other passengers had. Staff polite and efficient. Long wait between flights at Bucharest,
but flight to Bacau on ATR42-500 left on time and a quick flight. Cabin clean, friendly staff.
Given a Snickers bar for the flight, offered drinks but didn't take any. Was a good service,
would have no hesitation flying Tarom again.

The meal from Bucharest to London was the worst on any airline we have travelled. There was a
similar standard meal outward bound. A Mars bar for breakfast on the domestic flight. A piece
of fish (1.5 x1.5 x1.0 inches) with a smear of a red sauce and cold penne. A stale roll with a
pat of butter and a strange pink mousse. No wine offered or beer. The only juices available
were orange and tomato. Not good on a 3.5 hour flight. The plane was clean and punctual, but
you are an international schedule airline not a not a cheapo!

OTP-CDG Business Class. I flew them for a second time on this route in C class and I can't really
complain. FA's nice but not there when you needed them. There was a choice of meals between fish
and beef. The downfall is a very small choice of drinks and only one red and one white wines. No
menu either. The best thing are the business class seats. Very wide and comfy.
